I sat in my room crying. It's my birthday and nobody called me and told me happy birthday, and my dad isn't even at home.

Im not crying because i'm sad, more because i'm so freaking mad like what the fuck?

I heard my phone ringing and it was Maj.

I answered. "What you doing baby?" He asked.

"Nothing" I said.

"I might come see you later, i'm real busy right now though" I hung up on him.

I just decided to take a nap.

When i woke up my phone was ringing.

"What"

"Open the door lil girl" I heard Maj say.

I hung up the phone and went and opened the door.

He had a big bouquet of roses and a lot of bags. He had a happy look on his face then it turned into a sad look.

"Baby what's wrong?" He asked.

"Everybody forgot my birthday Maj" I said wiping my face.

"Fareal?" He asked.

"Yesss" I said crying and he pulled me into his chest.

"Fuck them" He said. "You got all this family for what?"

I stayed quiet.

"I love you li girl" He said rubbing my back.

"I love you too" I mumbled.

"Damn nobody Z?" He asked.

"Bro nobodyyyyy, that's so bogus like i can't" I said rolling my eyes.

"I like these" I said picking up the flowers. "They're nice"

"You wanna know sum i hate?" He said and i just looked at him. "When people say flowers smell good, flowers stank so bad b" He said.

I laughed. "Literallyyyy"

"You wan go get some food?" He asked.

"Always" I said smiling.

I slipped on my crocs and took my hair out of the bonnet.

We got in the car and he drove to P.f. chang's. I love it here.

"Table for 2?" The lady asked.

"Yeah" Maj said.

"Follow me" She smiled and walked us to a table.

I watched as her butt moved as she walked.

I looked up at Maj who was on his phone. I tapped his arm and nodded towards it.

He looked at me and started laughing making me laugh.

"Bro shut up" He said nudging my shoulder.

He sat down first and i sat down right beside him making him smack his teeth.

"What?" I asked looking at him.

"Sit across, that's what people do on dates" He said.

I just shrugged. "I wanna be near you"

We sat and conversed until the waiter came over.

"Hi" He said giving a smile. "Can i get you guys started with drinks?"

"Lemonade" We said at the same time making us both laugh.

"Okay i'll be right back" He said nodding then walking off.
