"Thank you so much for coming Zuri have a great rest of the day" Ms. Tanisha said. Zuri decided she was ready to get started on her college applications so she decided to become an intern for a therapist.

She had been doing it for 3 weeks now and she really enjoyed it. Her parents and siblings were happy that she was pursuing what she truly wanted to do.

She got in her dads car that was outside. "Hi" She said.

"Hey mama" He said pulling out. "Yo lil friend came by, he seemed upset you should check on him" He said.

"Maj?" I asked.

He nodded his head.

I wondered what he was possibly upset about. Maybe just a bad day.

When i got home i showered quickly and texted him.

I left him on read and just turned on some tv.

Zuri's phone rang loudly waking her up from her sleep instantly making her annoyed.

"Hm"

"I'm outside" She heard Maj say dryly.

She hung up and got up and went outside.

"I hate when you do this" She said getting inside his car slamming the door.

He looked at her like she was crazy. He already wasn't having a good day and she gone come out and slam his door.

"Imma ignore that" He said.

"Why are you here so late?" She asked squinting at him.

"Because i was busy earlier, if you wanna go back to sleep i'll leave" He said. He didn't feel like having a petty argument tonight.

She just rolled her eyes. "How was your day?"

"It was straight" He said.

Zuri got annoyed at the fact he didn't return the question and he was being so dry.

"What's wrong?" She looking at his face which held an annoyed expression.

"I'm good" He lied.

"You're obviously not, just tell me" Zuri stressed.

Maj ignored her questions and put his car in reverse and left.

"You hungry?" He asked.

"No i just ate" Zuri said

He was on the way to his house, he just wanted to be under her and love on her. He was just tired of doing it in her room.

They got out the car without a word and went to his bedroom.

She saw playing cards sitting on his dresser and grabbed them.

"Ou you wanna play? " She asked facing him while he stood beside her taking off his jewelry.

He ignored her question again and grabbed her shirt walking her to the bed.

He laid down and pulled her with him.

"I wanna play speed" She said.

His left arm was wrapped around her head and the other one was wrapped around her waist. "Can we play in the morning?" He asked her.

"Yeah, i guess we can" She said with her voice being muffled by his bicep. "I love you" She said.

"i love you more baby" He mumbled. "Now shhh"

Zuri woke up and she wasn't being bear hugged anymore and Maj wasn't in the bed.

She got up and brushed her teeth and washed her face and went to the kitchen and saw him rolling a blunt at the table.

"Good morning" She mumbled sitting beside him.

He didn't say anything.

She cleared her throat and moved closer to him but he still ignored her presence.

"See" She said standing up only to be pulled back down by her shirt.

She swatted his hands and wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her into his lap.

"You're so weird like..." Zuri said playing with her nails.

He laid his head on her back.

"What is wrongggg" She whined throwing her head back. "Like you're scaring me right now"

She turned her body all the way around and she was now face to face with him. "Can you please tell me what's wrong with you"

He rested his hand on her waist and lit his blunt with the other one.

"Is it me?" She asked.

He shook his head and turned it to the side blowing out smoke.

"So it is something wrong!" Zuri said pointing. He shook his head.

"Okay you're being weird" She said standing up again only to be pulled back down.

"Chill out" Maj mumbled.

Zuri crossed her arms and watched him blow smoke to the side. "You know you're really handsome" She said.

"Thank you" Maj said. "You too" He said.

Zuri gasped and smacked him making him laugh.

"That's not even funny you butthole" She said.

"You know what i meant" He said smiling.
