My eyes fly open as a face meets mine. His eyes were filled with worry as he shakes my shoulder quickly, panic in his voice. "Rechin, Get up! We need to go!" My friend, Loś hisses and backsteps as I snap upright. 

"What is it?" I hiss through my teeth and Loś Waves for me to get up. Without question, I do so quietly as he leads me over to the door. His fluffy brown hair drifts into his face as he cracks the door open enough for me to look outside. All of the Reapers were gathered and an unfamiliar face stood at the front of the grand hall.

"Calon has been proven to be a traitor to our cause! He has broken our number one rule of our code as Reapers and anybody who has contact to him must go out and bring him to justice!" The unfamiliar face says, his blonde hair shining in the lantern light that lit up the hall.

Oh. No.

I turn to look at Loś who had that look of fear in his eyes. This was a Coup. This man was lying to rally the Reapers against Calon.

This would shatter the reapers- This wouldn't end well if it went through.

"-And anybody who has knowledge of Ryan Nebula's Location must be brought forth right now!" The man announces and instantly, I back away from the door with Loś. I glance towards him, also fearing what would happen. I mouth quietly to him, asking what we should do. His dark eyes shimmer as he looks up to the rafters. Of course. We could hide up there.

We both creep over to the side of our room where Ryan's bed was, crawl up his ladder, then jump up to the rafters. To our left held a bunch of our belongings we stuffed to keep off the floor and to our right laid a open hole. Wait- That wasn't there before.

I tap Loś's shoulder as he about crawled over to our belongings and motion to the hole. Ryan always said he knew ways to get out of our room if we ever locked him in there and I never believed him. However, in this moment, I knew he was always telling the truth about it. Even now, he was helping us from outside this world. You smart reaper, Nebula. You smart Reaper.

I jump over the rafters carefully, making sure to not cause an absurd amount of noise, then make it to the hole. Loś follows my movements, but as he makes the last jump, his foot slips. I quickly grap his hand and hold him upright, making sure he didn't fall.

"This is their room. Rechin and Loś should be in here." A voice says from outside our door and I catch my breath. We were in full sight of the door if they came in, so we had to move quickly and quietly. I pull Loś back upright and crawl into the hole with him right behind me. The hole was cramped, but had enough room for both of us to crawl in. Beside the entrance lay a sheet of wood in the shape of the hole, attached to the wall with hinges. Loś quickly closes the door right as we hear the door to our room open.

I hold my breath as I hear men, then try to look further into the hole. It was too dark for me to see.

Xylas. I call out mentally and my little familiar appears in my lap, glowing enough for me to see further into the hole.

It went forward for a couple feet before the hole started to slope upwards. However, loose rocks lined the path and could create a bunch of noise if we went right now.

I glance back to Loś who had a pale face, obviously worried. Loś usually was pretty brave and fearless, but to see him with such a sick look to his face and panic, it set me off. I turn my head to listen to the conversation in our room, making sure to breathe as quietly as I could.

"I swear they were in here. Rechin and Loś just got back from being outside and Rechin was asleep." A female voice sounds and I try to recognize who's voice it was.
