chapter 38: Happy for you!!

Eco's POV

I stir as I wake up from my sleep but my eyes are still closed. I move my eyeballs beneath the eyelids as I try to open them. The room is calm but I hear a mild beeping sound. I take my time to get rid of the sleep and finally open my eyes and get greeted by the white ceiling.

"Baby? Are you awake?" I hear Sky's voice and turn to my right to find him sitting in front of me.

I frown as soon as I see him. Why does he look so worried but happy at the same time?

I try to sit up and he helps me with it. I look around the room and realise we're not in our room. Where is this place? I remember going to Sky's office and caught him with a girl. I returned home and was getting ready to leave. Sky and I had an argument but I don't remember anything after that.

"Where are we?" I ask him.

"Hospital." He states and smiles at me.

Why is he smiling? It's creepy!

"Why are we here then?" I query confused.

"Baby, you passed out after our talk. So I brought you to the hospital." He replies.

"Oh!" I nod and look around the room. It's good but too dull, I think they need to change the colour of the walls from white to something else, maybe black or red.

"Baby," while I look around, Sky calls me and I turn back to him. He stares straight into my eyes and holds both my hands in his, "I'm so happy. Your wish is going to be fulfilled. I'm going to be a father."

Father?

"So, you really cheated on me?" I call him out while pulling my hands from him.

"What?" He questions confused.

"You were giving me big big speeches on how you'll never cheat on me and that you'll love only me but at the end you really did cheat me. You got someone pregnant and now going to become a father." I tell him, tears glisten in my eyes.

"Baby, you're misunderstanding me again. Let me te..." I stop him off, I don't want to hear his excuses anymore.

"Is it that lady I saw today? She looks pretty good. Your baby will turn out great since you both are good looking. Though it's hurting me, it's fine as long as you're happy. At least don't cheat on her. Congratulations." I congratulate him while crying.

I'm happy that he'll become a father but not for my child. I guess we really need to divorce each other now.

"I'll leave the house and go back to my parents. Don't worry, I'll also sign the divorce papers so that you can marry the mother of your child and take good care of her so the your baby will be healthy." I sniffle as I wipe my tears.

Damn! I became so dramatic.

Sky sighs, his confused face turns into calmed but annoyed expression. He runs his face with his palm and folds his hands over his chest as he stares at me with a strong look. For some reason I feel intimidated by him and keep my head low. I keep taking glances at him. I wait for him to talk but he don't say anything and just gazes at me. I get enough of it and decide to talk myself.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask him out, he still stays quiet, "hey, I'm actually being good and happy for you even when you cheated on me and got someone pregnant. Shouldn't you be at least thanking me instead of looking at me as if I'm the one who committed the crime?"

"Just one question, are you serious about what you're talking now or you've gone crazy and sporting nonsense?" He questions me.

"Are you saying I'm going insane and not in right mind?" I shout at him. He's accusing me now.
