chapter 24: Big mosquito

Eco's POV

I'm pissed, so pissed right now. Why it's only Sky and I that gets interrupted whenever we try to kiss each other?

Stomping my feet, I walk down the stairs and stride towards the dining table. Uncle Elijah is walking behind uncle Sidney like a love sick puppy as uncle Sidney is going back and forth to the kitchen as he brings food. River and his evil husband, Ivan are sitting next to each other cooing at something in the phone. I glare at Ivan as I pull out a chair for myself. The screeching sound is so loud that both of them look at me. While River has a confused stare, Ivan is smirking as he's trying to control his laugh.

"Eco, is everything fine?" River asks me with concern.

Ask the damn question to your husband! I think in my mind but shake my head as a no with a fake smile at him.

"Babe, actually what happened w.." Ivan opens his mouth and I grab the chicken piece from the bowl before shoving it in his mouth.

"Eat that, Ivan." I grin at him while covering my furiousness as not to bring more doubts to already confused River who is watching us in a daze, "and keep your mouth shut!" I whisper the last part.

Isn't it already enough that he ruined my kiss with my husband but now he also wants to make public announcement to everyone?

"Oh, Eco, you're here! Where is Sky?" Uncle Sidney's voice makes me move my focus from the grinning guy.

"I'm here mama." Sky who just arrived beats me as he answers.

I look at him with a glare and he avoids my eyes as he sits next to me. Uncle Elijah and uncle Sidney too settle in their seats before serving us the food. Though not looking at me, Sky still feeds me. Noticing that everyone is busy with eating, I hardly bite on Sky's fingers earning a loud hiss from him. It grabs everyone's attention as they all look at him, I too just join the others innocently.

"Sky, baby, what happened?" Uncle Sidney asks confused.

"Um.. nothing mama, I think mosquito bite me." He replies while glancing at me while I chuckle internally.

"Yes, uncle Sidney, I saw the mosquito as well when I went to call them for dinner. It was all over bro Sky." Ivan bugs again and I give him a glare.

Is he going to spill our encounter to everyone? If he continues to talk like this, everyone will get the hint even though he won't out it directly.

"Really? I'll ask the maid to use mosquito repellent in your room so that by the time you go to your room to sleep, the mosquitoes will be gone." Uncle Sidney says worriedly.

How pure uncle Sidney is?

"No need for that, Sidney. Sky can manage it. Don't worry and eat." Uncle Elijah has a smug look on his face.

Unlike uncle Sidney, uncle Elijah isn't so pure. With the way he looks, I guess he already get the hint. It's only uncle Sidney and River who looks confused with the whole situation but they keep quite and continue eating.

Soon, our dinner finishes and we head back to our room to sleep. I take my medicine, change my clothes to comfortable nightwear and lay down on the bad, turning to my side and facing my back to Sky. I'm angry at him. Why don't he lock the door when we're just two of us in the room? I mean it's not necessary that we'll do something but at least it'll give us some privacy as a couple. Also what's wrong with Ivan, can't the guy at least ask our permission before entering our room? I'm gonna take revenge on him, I'll slam open their door when they're together and let everyone know. I'll tease the hell out of that guy. No one can escape from Eco's fury.
