Talia

Jason stood there motionless. His arms were still wrapped around me.

"Jason, are you going to hurt me?" I asked; to which I got no response. "Jason, please say something," I said shaking. He pulled away and sat on the bed, his head in his hands.

I knelt in front of him, trying to see his face. He moved his hands away from his face a little causing us to make eye contact.

"Yesterday you said you wished he killed you. But in reality, he wanted to worsen everything by making me do the dirty work for him." He finally said.

"I didn't mean it," I responded, breaking eye contact.

"I figured." He responded. "I made the rule, after I created my gang and found out Cedric faked his death that I'll never associate myself as his son and if anyone finds out I have to kill him immediately. My kill count increased heavily when Cedric figured out my rule. I had kidnapped a few other girls in your place and had to kill all of them because they found out." Jason explained before hiding his head again.

Chills ran down my spine and I ran out of the room. I didn't know where to go. But leaving would make Cedric kill me while staying inside would make Jason kill me. I decided to hide in the basement and figure something out. Quickly, I spotted a closet and hid in it.

I think Cedric killing me would mentally hurt less because I have no attachment to him. While it would mentally and physically kill me for Jason to kill me. Although, it wouldn't be crazy.

"Talia!" I heard from above. "Please talk to me!" He shouted.

I covered myself with whatever shit was in the closet and hid myself, hoping he won't search thoroughly.

After a couple of minutes, I heard the door in the basement slam open.

"Talia?" Jason shouted, almost sounding like he was crying.

I could hear his footsteps walk over to the closet I was in. I started shaking uncontrollably. I didn't know how to stop, but I knew it was over.

The closet was opened and everything that was on top of me was being moved off. At that moment, I broke down crying.

"You don't need to get out, I just want to talk." He said calmly.

"And then you're going to kill me." I whimpered.

"I was thinking, while you ran away to hide, whether I should kill you, I even loaded my gun and sharpened my knife, but I realized I wouldn't be able to live in a world without you. Especially if I was the one to take you out of it." He said softly.

"Are you serious or are you just saying that?" I asked him as I wiped my tears away.

"I'm honest." He said as he pushed my hair away. "I love you, Talia." He whispered.

I smiled back and got out of the closet. He grabbed me into a firm hug. "I promise I won't tell anyone about yours and Cedric's secret. It's safe with me." I whispered to him.

"It better be." He whispered back before kissing my forehead.

"Are we going to go back to the house now?" I asked him.

"No. Let's spend some time together." He responded.

A small chill ran down my back, knowing that I'd be stuck with him for an unknown amount of time.

"I'll need to get someone to fix the window. Ryan should be fine with it." He then said and walked out.

I breathed in relief as I knew I would be safe. All I have to do is not tell anyone that Cedric is Jason's dad. That shouldn't be too difficult. Right? Right? I was thinking to myself.

"Talia? Are you going to stay down there or come up?" I heard Jason shout from upstairs.

"I'm coming!" I returned.

A moment later, I stood up and made my way over to where I could hear Jason from.

"I made you breakfast. It's very likely cold now though. So, sorry about that." He said as he passed me over an egg scramble.

"Looks good. But yeah, it's cold." I chuckled but still ate it. Surprisingly, it tasted very good.

We then went to sit on the couch. I was drinking a cup of coffee when I heard the door open.

"Quickly moan," Jason whispered to me.

"What?" I responded very confused.

"Damn it." He then exclaimed when Ryan walked in. "Hi, Ryan."

"What did I miss?" Ryan asked very confused.

"Jason asking me to moan," I said as I took a sip.

"Oh, so just the regular. I'm surprised you're alive. Usually, girls don't survive long with Jason. Especially not a day and a half." Ryan stated which confused me and also stressed me out. But I think I can figure out what he was referring to.

"I'm special." I chuckled. I need to keep this secret. My life depends on keeping my mouth shut regarding the issue.

"I can tell. I just came over to clean up your body but from the looks of things, everything's fine." He said as he walked into the kitchen and I heard the kettle get turned off.

"Are you making coffee?" I shouted to him.

"Yeah! You want some?" He replied.

"Yes please!" I responded.

"Jason?" He shouted again.

"I'm good!" Jase responded.

He looked down at me and we just sat there for a while, I don't know how long it had been but Ryan took us out of the trance.

"Holy fuck just kiss already." He exclaimed, annoyed while passing me my coffee.

"I like my coffee like I like my men," I said while taking a sip. "Hot." The second that word left my mouth, Jason and Ryan broke down laughing; Ryan almost ended up spilling his coffee.

"Ryan, if you spill even a drop on my cloud couch you will end up like all the other girls that came into this house since I'm not killing Talia,"  Jason said to which, I responded with a bit of knee dance; while drinking my coffee.

Ryan left after a while and it was back to Jason and me being alone. We convinced him that we were still unsure of Cedric and that we'd stay here for a bit longer.

"How much longer are we going to stay in this house?" I asked Jason.

"No idea." He responded, brushing a strand of hair from my face.

As much as I've gotten comfortable being around Jason, I preferred when Ryan was here as he would protect me if Jason had an outburst.

I scanned his face, looking into his brown eyes and taking in the features of his face. I slid my thumb across his jawline; gently pulling him closer. I closed my eyes and so did he.

Soon enough, we connected our lips, into a kiss.
