I woke up in an unknown place the next morning. It was cold and scary and I had no idea what was going on. I sat in a chair in the middle of a dark room, tied up. What is Jason doing this time? But something felt off as if it wasn't Jason's doing.

"Hello?" I exclaimed as if I was in some sort of cliché horror movie.

"Ah yes, my potential daughter-in-law is awake." I heard a somewhat familiar voice. "You know, I was sure the second I walked out I would see blood everywhere and screaming and begging and crying for help. I was very, very disappointed when none of that came." The voice commented.

"So, you purposely kill off Jason's girls." I hissed in a raspy voice.

"What? no. My kill count is zero. The reason, I get others to do dirty work for me. I hate seeing my son happy so I tell the girl the one thing Jason doesn't want coming out, the fact that I'm his father. He's killed more people than me because I make him do that, everyone around me kills, and I encourage all of it. But, I'm not the one with a kill count." Cedric chuckled.

"Still, you'd get arrested for being an accomplice to murder. You still have blood on your hands. Therefore, a kill count." I commented and felt such a slap to the face that made the chair break, causing me to fall to the ground.

"Don't be smart around me." He scoffed.

"Why? Because you're intimidated? I get that a lot." I responded. I know exactly how this is going to end, I'm just having some fun.

"Oh, so this is how you want to play; no wonder you're covered in bruises and scars from Jason," Cedric added in the same fed-up scruffy tone.

"You get to a point where you don't care, that's where I am," I responded, still lying on the cold, stone floor.

"That's cute."

"So, will you do the honors and get me a new chair? I am very uncomfortable in this position." I said through a smirk.

"Deal with the consequences of your words." He spat and kicked the chair, breaking the seat and making it stab into my back. I quietly winced and heard him walk out.

"Well, this is fucking great," I whispered to myself.

Jason

I looked over at Talia who was sleeping peacefully next to me. I gave her a small peck on the cheek and got up to go to the bathroom.

As I was getting ready to leave, I heard a scream and then complete silence.

Immediately, I ran out but Talia was nowhere to be found.

On the bedside table, I found a note:
"I don't enjoy seeing you happy. I see I must take a different approach"

I screamed and punched my wall, leaving an indent.

"I left her alone, asleep for one second and all of a sudden Cedric took her!" I screamed into the phone.

"What should we do then, boss?" Ryan asked from the other side of the line.

"I'm coming back. I think I know where Cedric is." I told him and then hung up.

In a matter of minutes, I was in my car on the way to my house; I had to get back up to get to Cedric.

After half an hour I got back to the house. I, quickly, got out of the car and ran inside to collect the squad.

"Jason?" The guys exclaimed confused as I busted in and ran into the weapon room to grab as, the name suggests, weapons.

"Talia has been taken, we must go, now." I rushed and almost dragged everyone out of the house.

"Where are we headed?" Christian asked with a clear panicked tone.

"Some forest in Manhattan." I quickly answered and shoved my foot into the gas pedal.

"So, what's the game plan, McCann?" Ryan questioned.

"We get there and act on instinct; I didn't think this far," I responded as I drove.

I'm not allowing anyone to touch my girl without consequences. This includes my father if, necessary.

We finally got to the forest that my father was staying in. I know him well enough were I am aware that if he is anywhere near me or makes an appearance wherever I am, he's in an exclusive but desolate place.

As I had suspected, I found his house. Ready for murder, I walked in expecting people to be ready to attack me but there was absolutely nobody. Still, we had to be cautious, so I silently motioned everyone to check the house out. What I was hoping and praying for though was for Talia to be safe and sound or at least here.

After we had determined that no one was in the house, I told everyone to break apart and look for Talia in every nook and cranny possible.

I was about to lose hope when I heard from the basement. "I found her! She's in the basement! Bring a first aid kit first though!" It was Erika who found her.
