Talia

The rest of the car ride was quiet. I decided to look down at my leg which was still bleeding profusely and still hurt like a mother fucker.

"Is my leg supposed to bleed like this?" I asked Jason pointing to my leg.

"You're fine." He said through a clenched jawline without bothering to look down.

"OK then." I rolled my eyes. Thankfully, Christian turned around to see what I was talking about.

"Jason. She is not fine. Or anywhere near fine." Christian said with fear in his voice.

Jason still didn't bother to look. "She. Is. Fine." He responded.

"Jason, she's bleeding at an insanely fast speed. She won't survive this car ride home if this continues." Christian said concerned.

"Well, that's on her then. If she didn't get in the way she wouldn't have to worry." I started feeling dizzy and could feel myself slowly passing out. Christian was right. The only thing I remember is Christian Shouting some muffled words before everything disappeared into darkness.

"So you're trying to tell me you attempted to get a girl and killed her?" I suddenly heard a female voice say.

"It was all her fault I had nothing to do with it," Jason said aggressively.

I felt numb. I couldn't speak or move. "JASON SHES BREATHING!" From what I could tell it was Erika.

"So did you learn a lesson?" Jason asked but I couldn't respond.

"Jase she's in a coma she's alive but she won't respond to you," Erika explained.

"Goddammit," Jason whispered and I heard him walk away.

"Ok, you can stop pretending." Erika loudly whispered to me hoping Jason would hear. Of course not knowing what I might see was starting to get afraid but I also wanted to laugh even though I couldn't.

"WHAT?" I heard Jason scream.

"I'm just kidding I'm just kidding!" Erika exclaimed then screamed. I then heard her hit the ground very hard.

I wanted to move. I wanted to help but I could move a muscle.

Days or weeks went by I still was in this sleep paralysis-like state.

Jason didn't visit me often. But when he did those visits were very cold and made me wonder if he "loves me" so much why is he so cold.

Out of nowhere, I felt something gently caress my leg. "I'm so sorry." I heard. It was a voice I never heard before, so gentle and loving. Did a random person just break into the house and feel bad for me? "I shouldn't have lost control the way I did. I don't know if you can hear this. But I'm very sorry. You don't deserve to be treated the way I'm treating you. Especially for the reason I took you in for." The more he talked the more I realised it was Jason. I then heard a sudden crack in his voice. Was he crying?

I tried to move myself and only my arm ended up succeeding in moving. I couldn't stand seeing him or hearing him in that state. And so the best I could I moved my hand onto his, gently caressing it with my thumb.

Approximately two seconds later I felt like I got picked up and hugged but was still unable to move.

"I'm sorry," Jason whispered.
