Talia
I kept receiving weird messages and was praying they were Amy's boyfriend's friend. But something was telling me otherwise.
I Woke up one morning and saw another text from this number.
Unknown: I'm outside. I'm closer each day
This one completely freaked me out. I called everyone into my room.
"Guys... Guys." I said while the girls were talking but they didn't stop so I just showed them the message.
All color from Jen's face faded while Amy just looked at it. "I already told you I'm positive it's my boyfriend's friend." She spoke.
"I'm negative it is," I shouted and threw my phone onto my bed.
"Talia, what if she is right?" Jen asked while rubbing my back.
"I hope she is. But I know she's not." I said and buried my face in my hands. "We go back to school tomorrow. What if I don't go through the first day?" I said shaking.
"It'll be fine you'll see," Amy said and both she and Jen hugged Me.
"This is going to be mentally tough," I said and looked at them.
I woke up the next morning, shaking. I questioned whether I should go and decided to get ready and leave.
My mom said goodbye to me as if she was never going to see me again.
I walked into my school cautiously and all the girls were also paranoid.
I was walking when suddenly some guy bumped into me. "Hey, Talia. Watch where you're going." He laughed.
I looked up to see Zayn, Amy's boyfriend. "Thanks, dude," I said in a bored tone. "Wait aren't you supposed to be in San Francisco?" I asked him.
"I got back yesterday." He replied. "I can't miss many days off since my attendance is through the floor." He explained.
"Oh. Welcome to our nerdy group." I giggled.
"Thanks. Well, I'll see you around." He said and disappeared into the hallways.
"So, what were you saying to my boyfriend? "Amy said with a giggle but made me jump.
"Just asking why he wasn't in San Fran. Low attendance." I giggled and put my things in the locker.
The rest of the day was pretty chill. Nothing unusual happened which made everyone relax.
The rest of the week was also pretty boring. To the point where I stopped getting texts. Which calmed me down a lot.
Every girl by Friday was good and no one was afraid. It was just like the good old high school days which were boring yet nothing was happening that could cause something bad.
By Saturday rumors were going around saying Jason McCann robbed a bank and left the country back to where he came from.
I have never been this happy about the news. No one thankfully got hurt.
Everything seemed pretty back to where it was supposed to be.
Littledid I know what I was in for.
