After the events of the Sports Festival, the Jedi Initiates were ready to continue their training. Most excited about this was Class 001. As Class 001 sat in their seats, Professor Huyang addressed the class.
Huyang: Before we begin, I would first like to congratulate each and every one of you for your performance at the Sports Festival. You all represented the Jedi Academy honorable. Katooni, I extend my congratulations on winning the tournament.
Katooni: But....but I failed in the final match against Bakugo.
Huyang: Failure is the greatest teacher you shall ever know. Learn from your failures. The same goes for the rest of you. Do not let your losses discourage you. You have only just begun your training to become Jedi Knights. You will face many failures before you become Jedi. Learn from them.
As Huyang gave his students that lesson, the Class took a moment to reflect on their performance at the Sports Festival. After a moment, Huyang continues.
Huyang: Now that we got that out of the way, let us speak of the matter at hand. As I said before, the Sports Festival was the perfect opportunity to make your impression on not only your peers, but the various masters of our academy. I am proud to say that this class has made quite the impression. This class has received the most invitations.
When Huyang said that, the entire class fell silent. They couldn't believe that their class had ranked so highly, even with Katooni's impressive performance.
Huyang: Today, you will all be selecting a Jedi Master to train under. It is highly recommended that you choose one that has the most to offer you in your training. While it may be tempting to train someone under Master Windu or even Master Yoda himself, they may not particularly be the right master for you. Young Petro, please pass these ledgers to the rest of the class. These contain the list of the Jedi Masters interested in training you. Keep in mind that if some of you are thinking of training under the same Jedi Master, they may or may not have the capacity to train multiple apprentices. So it is always good to have backups. Now then, look over the ledgers and decide who you all shall train under.
With that, Petro passed all the ledgers to his classmates. The entire class looked over the list of Jedi Masters who sought to take under their wing.
Ganodi: Whoa...there's so many to chose from!
Zatt: No kidding! Choosing a master is going to be hard!
As they looked through the ledgers, Byph found a name he was familiar with.
Byph: M...maybe Master Plo Koon. I've heard Master Plo is a skilled negotiator.
Ganodi: Maybe Master Plo can help you build your confidence.
Byph: M...maybe.
Gungi: <I was thinking about training under Master Plo as well.>
Huyang: I think that is an excellent choice! Master Plo's strong sense of justice has allowed him to gain the reputation as one of the wisest members of the Jedi Order.
As Gungi and Byph expressed interest in training under Plo Koon, Zatt and Ganodi saw a name on both their ledgers.
Zatt: Whoa! Kit Fisto wants to train me! This is big!
Ganodi: Really?
Zatt: Yeah! Kit Fisto is one of my heroes! He's probably the reason why I want to be a Jedi!
Ganodi was caught off guard by Zatt's excitement. She had always known him to be rather composed. To see Zatt like this shocked Ganodi.
Ganodi: I was thinking about training under Master Luminara, but maybe there's something that Master Fisto has to offer.
Huyang: A fine choice, Zatt and Ganodi! Master Fisto has an intense focus, particularly in combat. He was also much more laid-back and capable of enjoying a hearty chuckle than others within our order.
As Zatt and Ganodi settled in on training under Kit Fisto, Petro immediately spotted a name that caught his eye.
Petro: You can't be serious! Master Tholme wants to train me?! Sign me up!
Katooni: Master Tholme?
Petro: Only one of the coolest Jedi Masters out there! He took down a whole crime syndicate by himself!
Huyang: I know Master Tholme. Unlike most Jedi, Tholme was more of a mastermind of events, rather than a diplomat or a warrior.
Katooni: I think I'll train under Master K'Kruhk.
Huyang: A very fine choice, young Katooni! Among the Jedi, Master K'Kruhk is like both Warmaster and High Priest. A powerful warrior with a gentle soul.
With that, all the Jedi Initiates of Class 001 ha selected the Jedi Master they would train under. Gungi and Byph would train under Plo Koon. Zatt and Ganodi would train under Kit Fisto. Petro would train under Tholme. Katooni would train under K'Kruhk.
Huyang: I see that you've all selected the Jedi Master you wish train under. As such, class will be dismissed early. Meet with the Masters you've selected. I wish you luck on your apprenticeships!
With that, class was dismissed. The Jedi Initiates of Class 001 would prepare themselves for their internships and move one step closer to becoming Jedi Knights. Meanwhile at the Sith Compound, Darth Krayt was preparing his grand plan for the downfall of the Jedi. As he finalized his plan, he was approached by his Hands.
Darth Talon: My lord. We've just received word that the League of Villains is attempting to recruit the Hero Killer.
Darth Krayt: The Hero Killer. I know of his. He's killed seventeen Pro Heroes and injured twenty-three beyond recovery killed seventeen heroes and injured twenty-three beyond recovery. However, he has not killed any Jedi.
Darth Nihil: Shall we deal with the Hero Killer? He will be no match for us.
Darth Krayt: No. Let the League attempt to recruit the Hero Killer. We must keep our mind focused on the task at hand.
With that, the Sith began preparing to set Darth Krayt's plan in motion. From behind the scenes, the Sith would plot the downfall of the Jedi.
