After weeks of training and preparation, the Jedi Initiate Trials were finally upon the students of the Jedi Academy. On the day of the Jedi Initiate Trials, all the students of the Jedi Academy were gathered into the Training Grounds. The students of Class 001 were nervous about the upcoming trials, but felt ready. It wasn't long before Cin Drallig: Battlemaster of the Jedi Order appeared before the students.

Cin Drallig: Welcome, Initiates. Today is a special day for you all. You all have taken the first steps into a larger world. The Force has brought you all here today. Today, you will all face the Jedi Initiate Trials. Should you pass, you will no longer be Initiates. By the end of these Trials, you will all be made into Padawans. Your teachers have prepared you all to the best of their abilities. Now it falls on all of you to take the next step into the path of becoming a Jedi.

As Cin Drallig said this, all the students of the Jedi Academy became nervous. Class 001 were especially nervous. Despite facing both Villains and Sith, the students of Class 001 couldn't help but feel the pressure. Despite all of this, the Jedi Initiates of Class 001 were confident in their abilities. Soon enough, Cin Drallig addressed the crowd of Jedi Initiates.

Cin Drallig: The First Test of your trials will the the easiest ones of the trials, but no less important. The Jedi Code has been the foundation of our order since it's inception. These tenants must always guide you in your path. In everything you do, you must be conscience of their wisdom. To move forward in the trials, you must prove that you must have an understanding of the Jedi Code. Let us begin. There is no emotion.....

Jedi Initiates: There is peace.

Cin Drallig: There is no ignorance....

Jedi Initiates: There is wisdom.

Cin Drallig: There is no passion....

Jedi Initiates: There is serenity.

Cin Drallig: There is no chaos....

Jedi Initiates: There is harmony.

Cin Drallig: There is no death....

Jedi Initiates: There is only the Force.

As all the Jedi Initiates successfully recited the Jedi Code along with Cin Drallig, a smile fell on the Jedi Master's face.

Cin Drallig: Very good, Initiates. You have all learned your studies well. Now the time has come for you to face the Second Trial. In this trial, you will be separated by Class. This trial will test your connection to the Force in both mind and spirit. The Force is no mere Quirk. It is the very essence of life itself. It binds all things in the world in perfect harmony. We Jedi are servants of the Force and it's will. Take the time to prepare for the trial.

With that, the Jedi Initiates were given time to prepare for the Second Trial. As the Jedi Initiates prepared themselves for what was to come, Petro spoke to his fellow classmates.

Petro: So far so good, right guys?

Zatt: The first test is always the easiest.

Petro: Just...trying to raise the mood.

Ganodi: So what do you think the Second Trial has in store for us?

Katooni: Master Drallig said that this trial will test our connection to the Force in both mind and spirit. Perhaps it has something to do with our Force abilities.

Gungi: <If that's the case, then we've got this trial down, right?>

Byph: But...but Master Drallig said that the Trials will only get harder from here.

Petro: You worry too much, Byph. We've faced down Sith and Villains. I'm sure whatever the remaining trials have won't faze us. We got this in the bag.

Katooni: We shouldn't be so overconfident, Petro. We must be prepared for whatever the Jedi Initiate Trials have in store for us.

With that, Katooni's words spurred her classmates forward and raised their morale. Meanwhile at an observation room overlooking the Training Grounds, many of the Jedi Masters including members of the Jedi Council were watching over the students. Professor Huyang in particular was observing his students in Class 001. He couldn't help but feel proud in the progress his students made so far. It wasn't long before he was approached by Kyle Katarn.

Katarn: Nervous, Professor.

Huyang: Not at all, Master Katarn. My faith in my students is without question.

Katarn: I told you to call me Kyle. You know I had that Master title.

Huyang: My apologies, Kyle.

Katarn: No offense taken.

Katarn then glances over to see his students in Class 001 preparing for the next trial.

Huyang: What of you?

Katarn: I've done everything in my power to prepare them for the trials. Jaden and Kalifa are bright. Rosh, Jinx and O-Mer got good head on their shoulders. I think they'll do just fine. In fact, the Sports Festival has been pretty good for the Class, especially Kalifa.

Huyang: Really? How so?

Katarn: Kalifa's always been a bit moody. She took the rivalry between our classes seriously. But after her loss to that Petro kid, she's been much more...accepting. Now instead of resenting Class 001, she decided to train even harder so that she may surpass them. That feeling's rubbed off on all the others, including Jaden. So you kids better keep up their training if they want to remain the top class.

Both Professor Huyang and Kyle Katarn shared a laugh as they continued to observe the Jedi Initiate Trials. For now, all the Jedi Initiates could do was to prepare themselves for the Second Trial of the Jedi Initiates Trials.
