When the Jedi Training Studies in full swing, Zatt and Ganodi made their way to the office of Jedi Master Kit Fisto. As two Jedi Initiates approached the Jedi Master, Kit Fisto greets them with a warm smile.
Kit Fisto: Welcome, Initiates! It is an honor and a privilege to be taking you both on as Padawan Learners!
Ganodi: T...thank you, Master Fisto. It's an honor to learn under you.
Kit Fisto: Your performances at the Sports Festival were quite something. I see that Professor Huyang has taught you well.
Zatt: But....but none of us got far in the Final Event.
Kit Fisto: But you made it to the Final Event regardless. It is easy to let failure put us down. But it is through one's perseverance that forges our path.
As Kit Fisto said this, Zatt and Ganodi took a moment to ponder Kit Fisto's words. The two Jedi Initiates thought of how far they got only to be beaten/
Kit Fisto: Now let us begin your training! There's an old friend who would like some Jedi assistnace.
With that, Zatt and Ganodi joined Kit Fisto on his mission. They travelled to the docks where a ship was stationed. The ship's Captain was seen.
Kit Fisto: Captain Selkie! It's been a long time, old friend!
Selkie: Well well well! Master Kit Fisto as I live and breathe! How long has it been?
Kit Fisto: Too long, my friend!
As Kit Fisto and Selkie spoke, Zatt and Ganodi spotted Tsuyu Asui from UA's Class 1-A among Selkie's crew.
Ganodi: Asui? You're interning with Captain Selkie?
Tsuyu: Yes. He seemed like a pretty good choice. Oh and call me Tsu.
Zatt: How long have you been training under Selkie?
Tsuyu: A few days, but I stopped a Villain attack not too long ago.
As Zatt and Ganodi spoke with Tsuyu, the trio were approached by Kit Fisto and Selkie. Kit Fisto along with Zatt and Ganodi joined Captain Selkie and his crew on the Oki Mariner. As the Oki Mariner took to the Sea, Selkie informed the Jedi on the mission.
Selkie: We caught an S.O.S. from a cargo ship not too long ago.
Selkie then plays the broadcast.
Sailor(Broadcast): Can anyone hear this?! Send help! We're completely overwhelmed! We need.....
The broadcast was cut just as the sound of a Lightsaber was heard. It didn't take long for the Jedi to recognize the sound.
Ganodi: That....that sounded like a Lightsaber!
Kit Fisto: I see now why you called for my assistance, Captain Selkie.
Selkie: Aye. If it's one of those Sith, then I'd feel a lot better having a Jedi.
Kit Fisto: Luckily for you, you have 3.
Selkie: We have the ship's last coordinates. Let's get going.
With that, the Oki Mariner sailed towards the cargo ship's last coordinates. It didn't take long for them to come across the ship in the middle of the ocean. As the Oki Mariner approached the ship, Kit Fisto along with Zatt and Ganodi took point while Captain Selkie and the crew of the Oki Mariner followed them. When the Jedi went below decks, they saw that the crew had been massacred.
Zatt: I've got a bad feeling about this....
Kit Fisto: Keep your guard up at all times. Whoever did this might still be....
Suddenly, Kit Fisto and the two Jedi Initiates were ambushed by Darth Nihl and Darth Talon. After a brief engagement, Kit Fisto used the Force to blast them back.
Darth Nihl: Finally. We were beginning to think that no one would spring our trap.
Ganodi: You...you killed all those people to draw us out?! They did nothing to you!
Darth Talon: Don't even bother wasting your tears on those fools. They were the least satisfying lives we have ever taken.
Kit Fisto: You will answer for your crimes!
Darth Nihl: Come, Darth Talon. Let us show these little Jedi the true nature of the Force.
With that, Darth Nihl and Darth Talon engaged Kit Fisto, Zatt and Ganodi in a Lightsaber duel. Zatt and Ganodi found themselves on the defensive as they attempted to aid Kit Fisto in fighting off the Sith Lords. As the two Sith Lords pressed the attack, Zatt threw his Lightsaber at a nearby pipe, causing steam to blast the two Sith Lords, pushing them back. This allowed Kit Fisto to rush in and press the attack. As Darth Talon went for an overhead strike, Ganodi used the Force to grip a barrel and chucks it at Darth Talon, knocking her back several feet. The duel quickly turned into a stalemate as Kit Fisto maintained a strong defense on both Darth Nihl and Darth Talon.
Darth Nihl: Most impressive, Jedi.
Kit Fisto: This is your last chance, Sith. Surrender now and you will be treated fairly.
Darth Talon: Foolish Jedi. You have no idea what is coming. But you'll find out soon enough.
Without warning, Darth Nihl and Darth Talon used the Force to crush the area around them, causing water to begin flooding inside the ship. This allows the two Sith Lords to slip away. After the battle, the Jedi and the Heroes were able to make it back onto the Oki Mariner before the ship sank. On the Oki Mariner, the Jedi spoke about the encounter.
Ganodi: I...I can't believe they killed all those people just to draw us out!
Kit Fisto: That is the way of the Dark Side. But you both did well.
Zatt and Ganodi smiled at the praise given to them by Kit Fisto. Though they failed to capture the Sith, Zatt and Ganodi had gained valuable wisdom on what it means to be a Jedi.
