Chapter 15 : Catastrophe begins

•Winter's POV•

While we're having lunch with Haechan's parents, Karina suddenly stood up and excused herself before she left cause she said that she has some important things to do to at home.

So there's Giselle, Jaemin, Mark and me here, but i didn't feel right about this, after eating, the boys are playing video games in the living room and Giselle is joining them there, while i'm the only one who is helping Mrs.Lee, Haechan's mother washing the dishes in the kitchen.

Silence filled up the atmosphere between us, i'm still focusing on what i'm doing until she spoke up,

"I see that Haechan seems to like you, doesn't he ?"

What she said made me stop, but i quickly fake a smile then looked at her and said,

"It's not like what you think, me and Haechan are just friends only and nothing more."

She then said but still didn't look at me,

"Really ?"

She then smiled at me, i don't know why but her smile gives me pleasure and kindness, she's not as scary as what i thought at first.

I just smiled awkwardly, don't know what to say next, but then she continued,

"You don't have to hide it to me anymore, Haechan already told me about your relationship with him."

I feel a bit embarrassed now, so his mom new about it and he didn't tell me, Mrs.Lee suddenly hold my hands and said,

"I don't require you anything, but please take care of Haechan for me, he's my only child so i love him so much, but because of my job, i couldn't have time to care for him."

She then handed me a plate with apple slices and said,

"Can you bring this to the living room for the boys and Giselle for me ?.....They must be hungry now."

I just nodded and do what she said, but when i'm on my way to the living room, the bracelet on my wrist buzzed so i looked at it and saw an announcement, then i read it.

[ Karina has entered KWANGYA ]

I feel a bit confused now, it means that Karina is now in KWANGYA all alone by herself and it's very dangerous, maybe i need to tell the others about this, or it's better if i shouldn't tell them.

I then sat down beside Haechan and put the plate on the table, they're still focusing on their game, Giselle then took a bite of the apple and said,

"Why Karina always seems to be busy, she always refuses to hang out with us and just stayed at home."

Haechan then said but still looking at the television screen and playing the game,

"I thought it's too obvious because she's the best student in our school, don't you all think so ?"

We all agreed with him, Karina barely spent time with us, she always stayed at home to study cause she used to told me that she wanted to be the top student of our school this year again, although i know no one in our school is better than her.

•Karina's POV•

Me and Jaehyun are now standing outside of the building where we used to save Giselle, also it's the place where everything begins.

Although i'm still not sure about it, i can feel that all of the strange things that happened to Jeno lately all started from this place.

Jaehyun then looked at me and said with confusion,

"You're saying that, this is where you're suspecting about, but how can we get inside there, i mean, look over there, a lot of guards are patrolling around."
