Captain Three packed her bare essentials, tooth brush, spare clothes, food, water, and of course, her classic hero shot. Four looked like she had packed everything, and Agent Three was quite reserved with her packing. I mean, she did spend a lot of her time wandering the Splatlands.

"You guys ready?", The Captain asked. Four and Three nodded. They bought their tickets and hoped onto the bus, the same one that Eight took all those years ago. Memories flooded Captain Three's mind. She smiled slightly at the happy thoughts.

"So...about this Agent?", Three asked. The Captain snapped back into reality and sighed.

"Okay, but in order to understand who she is, we might as well start from the beginning.", She said adjusting herself to get comfortable. This was going to be a long trip after all.

A Few Hours Later...

"And now I'm here, with you and Four, trying to get her back.", Captain Three finished.

"Wow...That is so cool and fresh!", Three exclaimed. Four smiled.

"I know right? Captain Three has gotten on a lot of amazing missions!", Four said bouncing in her seat. The captain rolled her eyes. But she started to stare out the window with a longing feeling.

"I hope she's alright. I owe her so much. Least I can do is be there for her after she helped me...", she said, resting her head on her hand.

"As in be her girlfriend?", Four teased. Captain Three's face turned bright orange. Three remarked at the sight, for she had never really seen Three express emotion before. Other than being mad, serious, and occasionally smiling.

" I hate you.", Captain Three said, shoving a giggling Four.

"Uh, guys, I think we're here.", Three said pointing outside. It was a nice town, other than the fact that it was covered in ooze. Captain Three nodded and picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulder. Four did the same.

"Okay, lets go.", The captain said, walking over to the exit of the bus. They all hopped off and thanked the driver, and looked at their surroundings. Three gasped in horror. The whole town was just covered in goo, and most of the buildings were run over by Octarians. Captain Three had her heart in her throat, and took a deep breath. They walked towards the town, and they saw someone sitting on a bench near the entrance.

"What are you kids doing out here?", she asked, her voice soft and melodious. She was an octoling, but had strange eyes. They were a foggy white and she stared off into the distance longingly. Four squirmed at the sight.

" We're here on official business, and we're just going to clear out the ooze and stuff. Oh! And one of our friends, she lives here, we just kinda just want to know if she made it out or not?", Four said, hand on hip. The Octoling closed her eyes.

"Hmm...I won't question anyone who wants to help, and you do sound official. But about you're friend. What's their name?", she said opening her eyes again.

"She goes by Eight, normally.", Captain Three said, crossing her arms.

"Eight? Oh! Yes, I know her! We were great friends! You must be Four, and Three. But...I don't recognize the third one.", she said, pointing at Three.

"Oh, I'm one of the new ones. I'm actually Three as well, old Three just goes by Captain now.", Three explained. She nodded in understanding.

"I see. She has been missing out then. Well, I'm Ilyzia. Pleasure to meet you all. Oh, and if you were wondering," she pointed to her eyes,"I am blind. If you were wondering or anything. Oh, but back to your matter. I'm afraid I haven't heard about Eight since the invasion. All I know is that she was indeed one of the residents that didn't escape. But I rest assure you! She will be perfectly fine on her own. She has been through a lot after all.", she said.

"She didn't escape?! So she's still in there?", The captain exclaimed. The cotton candy inked octoling nodded.

"I'm terribly sorry. But if you are going in there, I assume you are also going to rescue her. No?", Ilyzia said tilting her head.

"Oh, we are going to rescue her all right! Or so be it.", exclaimed Four.

"Thanks for the info, Ilyzia. This means a lot.", The captain said smiling at the octo. She nodded.

"Okay team, lets roll out!", she ordered, and they all pulled out their weapons and headed towards the gate into the town. But Ilyzia stopped Captain Three.

"Three? Or I guess Captain?", she called. The Captain stopped in her tracks. She turned around to face her.

"What?", she asked.

"Eight talked about you, a lot. How strong you were, and brave, and how you were a hero to her. She...well that bit I swore never to tell. But, just keep those thoughts in mind Three. Just saying.", she said, giving a warm smile to the inkling. Captain Three smiled and blushed. A hero? Brave and strong? Goodness, it was making Three feel all warm inside. But she didn't know why.

"Thanks, I'll be sure to keep that in mind.", she said, turning back to the group, waving a goodbye to Ilyzia, and she waved back. Once their footsteps were inaudible, Ilyzia sighed,

" If they find you Eight, oh cod, you better tell Three what's going on.", she sighed smiling at the sunny blue sky.
