"Bucky. It's me. It's Demi." I shake him.

"Demi." Bucky asks.

"Yeah, it's Demi and Steve." I reply.

"Come on." Steve lifts Bucky of the table.

"We thought you were dead." Steve says.

"I thought you were smaller." Bucky replies.

Me and Steve both wrap one of Bucky's arms around our shoulders, practically dragging him out the room.

"What happened to you?" Bucky questions.

"I joined the army." Steve answers back.

Bucky got his balance and separated from me and Steve.

"Did it hurt?"

"A little." I shook my head at Steve's answers.

"Don't lie to yourself." I scoff.

"Is this permanent?" Bucky says.

"So far." Steve jokes.

Huge explosions echoed through the place as we run through the place. We keep running until we are interrupted by a voice.

"Captain America." Schmidt shouts. "How exciting. I am a great fan of your films. So Dr Erskine managed it after all." Steve slowly walks towards Schmidt. "Not exactly an improvement but still, impressive."

Steve didn't wait to punch Schmidt, he stumbles back holding his face which was not looking quite right. Schmidt goes to punch Steve who blocks it with the shield, denting it. I sped over and kicked Schmidt in the stomach sending him flying back.

Schmidt's sidekick pulled a lever, splitting the bridge in two so that we couldn't reach each other anymore.

"No matter what lies Erskine told you, you see I am his greatest success."

In a quick movement, Schmidt rips off what appears to be a mask and underneath is a skull but it's red.

"You don't have one of those, do you?" Bucky spoke.

"You are deluded, Captain?" Schmidt insults. "You pretend to be a simple soldier but in reality, you are just afraid to admit that we have left humanity behind." Schmidt throws his fake mask into the fire below. "Unlike, you I embrace it proudly. Without fear."

I'm sick of this. "Then how come you're running." I shout back.

Schmidt doesn't reply, he just smirks as he shuts the door of the elevator him and Zola stood in.

:

Steve shows us a unsteady beam where we can cross to the exit. I quickly climb on and sped to the other side of it.

"How can she can do that?" Bucky whispered to Steve.

"I'm sure she will love to explain later but right now we need to get across." Steve replied.

Bucky steps onto the beam walking a few steps before the beam starts to fall but gets caught by a hanging beam. Bucky steps speed up but just before he reaches the end the beam falls and Bucky starts to fall but I grab his hand pulling him onto the platform.

"There's gotta be a rope or something." Bucky tries to convince Steve.

"Just go. Get out of here." Steve answers back.

"Not without you." We say at the same time.

Steve then looks at us before take a couple steps back, preparing for the jump. He runs and jumps but a large explosion echoes as he jumps.
