Chapter 30

Brenna's POV

I somehow managed to get a decent amount of sleep last night considering I slept all day yesterday. I can't believe I have to leave today. This trip may not have been as good as I expected but it still was amazing. It was nice to get out of school and away from my boring everyday life. If I don't get up soon then I won't get to say goodbye to anyone who's leaving soon. Will and I aren't leaving until later tonight. I feel really tired for some reason. How am I tired if I slept all day yesterday and all night? I need to get up though of I want to say good bye. I'm probably never going to see any of these people ever again. That's a scary thought. I don't want to think about things like that right now. I need to get up now. I pull the covers off me, exposing my skin to the cold air. I'm wearing a puffy jacket, shorts, and a hat. I quickly remember why I have the hat on. I take off the jacket. Nope. Too cold. Whatever, I need to hurry up. I walk up the cold wooden stairs.
I get to the top and yell "good morning!" Everyone murmurs some kind of response and I walk into the kitchen to see what there is to eat.
"Want some pizza?" Will asks.
"Sure" I say looking at the four pizza boxes sitting on the counter. I grab a piece.

The first few people whose flights take off at 12:00 left for the airport a few minutes ago. Jordan was one of them. There are still quite a few of us left. We are attempting to clean up the huge mess. I am in charge of cleaning out the fridge. I pull out a dozen empty boxes, cans, and bottles. Does no one know how to recycle? I take everything to the recycling bin outside.
I run into Isaac and he says "why are you still wearing the hat?"
"Why do you care?"
"I don't" he says.

More people just left for the airport. There is only six of us left and I don't know who a few of them are. Graser, Will, Isaac, some other guy, someone else I don't know, and I are the only people left. We need to get out of the house soon so we are just going around and looking to see if anyone forgot anything. It doesn't look like anyone forgot anything.
"I don't see anything" I say.
"Keep looking" Graser says.
"Okay" I say. I guess I'll check the basement one more time. I go down the stairs and I look around quickly. Nothing.
"I still don't see anything" I say.
"Okay, is everyone ready to go?" Graser asks. Everyone says yes. We all gather our things and head out. We have about four hours to kill. We decide to go to a science museum.

We just arrived at the airport. I don't want to leave. I wish I could stay here forever. We say our final goodbyes before heading our separate ways.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! Sorry it took so long. I got really lazy with this chapter lol. This was probably the most boring chapter in existence to write. I literally wanted to slam my head against a wall as I wrote this. I have sooooooooooo many plans for the future of this book so I am SOOOOOOOOO happy to have this chapter over with. Don't worry this book won't end anytime soon and there's going to be a sequel.
