It was Phil. What was he doing in the middle of the hallway? You didn't want to talk to him at the moment, all the bits of stress really got to you.
Instead of walking up to him, you glanced at a staircase and rushed down the stairs. The stairs was to the left major corridor.
After what feels like miles worth of walking, you realize the slight predicament your in. The only way to find yourself to the exit was through the living room like area. When you peeked around the corner, you saw the curly hair of King Eret as he lounges on the couch, silently waiting for someone.
You hid behind the wall and though about your options. You remember a few different exits but you didn't want to risk running into anyone. You stroked your chin in a comedic way but you paused when you felt a warm liquid.
Your nose was bleeding, pretty badly too. You headbutted Wilbur pretty hard if you ended up with a blood fall. You checked your clothes, there were tiny droplets on the fabric, but [not too noticable/it was too noticable.]
As you were deep in your pool of thoughts, a deeply spoken voice scared you.
"Are you okay?"
Startled, you gasp and turn to the noise. It was King Eret, staring straight at you with a small worried frown. Who wouldn't be worried? You were coated with your own blood.
"U-uhm, yeah. Just confused, I guess." You answered honestly. Besides the fact that your lower face was a bit numb, you hadn't felt any liquid running out of your nostrils.
"Confused on all the blood on your face or something else?" The brunet grabbed a handkerchief out of some pocket and handed it to you.
"Yeah, I didn't realize that I was bleeding until like, a minute ago." You silently reject the offer, pulling out your own handkerchief and wipe your face off. You could've sworn you saw King Eret make a disappointed face, but you disregard it.
"Are you sure you're okay though? You had me really worried when I saw you peeking around the corner..." Eret lightly touched you jaw, obviously checking to see if there was anything else wrong with you.
It felt new, believe it or not. Sure, your father cared, but never this much. It was nice, really nice. You refrained from easing into the warm touch.
"Oh shoot- you saw that? S-sorry, I swear I'm not a stalker or something... I was just trying to avoid, ah, nevermind..." You mustered an answer.
King Eret chuckles, "No, you're okay. Mind I ask how you talking to me so casually? I don't think I've really seen you around here... Actually, you look kinda familiar..."
"Oh, I'm just... Close friends with the royals, I guess. I'm just not around because I work in the kitchen most of the time." You didn't want to ask why you look familiar. You already know why. After all, you've been told you look like your father quite a bit.
"Oh, that makes a lot more sense. Say, I never actually got your name..." Eret smiles, his glasses falling ever so slightly before she quickly pushed them back up, but it wasn't fast enough. You saw his pure white eyes, but you didn't question it. You've seen weirder.
"Y/N. Y/N Lovegrove." You formally introduced yourself, even doing a little bow as well.
"That's why you looked so familiar! You're the child if Kenneth, aren't you?" Eret grins, taking your hand in his before kissing your knuckles. "I'm very pleased to have finally met you."
You nervously chuckle, not expecting the kiss or anything else, really. "A-ah, yes, p-pleased to have finally met you, t-too." You stuttered, unsure on how to reply.
"Heh, don't be nervous. Anywho, would you like to join me after my visit? I'll take you straight back to Kenneth's mansion as soon as you say so." Eret looked content on you joining him.
"Ah, I was actually just going to walk home and get some rest. How about some other time?" You suggest, realizing Eret hadn't taken his hand off of yours.
"Of course! It would make sense that you'd need rest. Is tomorrow okay?"
"Uh, sure." Dude, you just got kidnapped like what, two days ago? Damn.
"Alright! Tomorrow at, how about 3? We can get dinner as well."
You nodded with a little hum, silently regretting your desicion.
"Perfect! Now, how about I walk you out? You are avoiding someone, aren't you?" Eret begins walking to the main entrance with you following suit.
When the two of you reach the large wooden doors, one of the butlers open it with surprising strength. The door was like the size of Roses door boat from Titanic, huge and fancy.
You nod at the butler with a small smile unlike Eret who kept walking. When the sun touched your skin, you felt just a bit better. Even though the sun was about to set into the mountains, it was still bright enough to make it feel like morning.
"Alrighty, I know where to go from here. Thanks, Eret!" You gave Eret a closed eyed smile before walking off. "See you tomorrow!"
