I wake up only after a few hours, groaning at the pain in my head. Probably from the lack of blood flow.
Worth it, though.
I carefully get out of Grayson's grip, and this time I actually don't wake him.
I go downstairs to my purse to get some medicine, then to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
I end up staring out the window for a moment, looking at the moon in the sky. The sky is clear, so it gives a perfect view of the bright moon and all the stars. I've always been so fascinated with the stars.
I hear Grayson shuffle into the room, so I turn to look at him. He rubs his eyes as he yawns.
"What are you doing?" He asks quietly, his voice thick with sleep.
"Was getting some meds for my head" I tell him. He frowns and opens his arms for me. I happily step into them. He rocks me back and forth slightly as he barely spins in a circle and I find myself completely swooning. I feel like crying because of the amount of happiness, and love that I feel at this moment.
Love.
I'm in love with him.
Completely, utterly, head over heels.
And I'm not mad about it.
The thought of telling him crosses my mind, but I quickly decide against it. I'm sure he doesn't love me, and I don't wanna make anything weird. I don't want to freak him out either, we haven't even been dating that long.
"You alright?" He asks gently. I hum and lean up to kiss him. He happily fills in the gap.
"Let's get back to bed" He hums. He lets go of me but takes my hand to lead me back upstairs.
He gets into his bed first and opens the blankets for me. I don't hesitate to crawl in. I place half of my body on him, my leg resting across his hips. I wrap my arm around him and put my head on his chest. I slide my hand up to rest on his neck, and he leans to kiss my head before leaning into my hand.
His arm wraps around my back tightly, and the other holds my knee to keep it draped across him.
I'm a goner.
