TOMMY'S POV
I can't believe I'm being forced to move into an entire new town. I grew up in California, but now I have to get used to calling Montana my home. I even have to leave my girlfriend. I'd been with her for five months, but I had to break up with her a few days ago. Hopefully I'll find someone half as amazing as she is.
"Earth to Tommy," my mother shouted. I guess I had been daydreaming for a bit.
"Yes, mother?"
"We're here! We're home!" she exclaimed.
"Wonderful," I muttered under my breath. She was so excited to come here and "start a new life" after she and my father divorced. I guess I get how it's difficult for her, but I don't see why I couldn't have just stayed with him.
I started to help her unload the moving truck. We didn't carry all of it in, but we got quite a few boxes. We had decided to do the rest of them in the morning.
LATER THAT NIGHT IN BED
I'm gonna hate it here. My life is back home. Someone, please save me....

ADAM'S POV
I hate this town so much. I wish I could just die sometimes, not that I'd ever have the guts to actually do it. The worst thing about being here is the people. Everyone is so close-minded. And I wonder why I'm afraid to come out. I realized a few months ago that I'm gay. I was dating a girl who was really into me. She was amazing--so sweet and funny and very pretty. Yet, for some reason, I wasn't attracted to her whatsoever.
I'm just hoping that one day I'll find the right guy for me. He could give me something to live for...
