Chapter 6

TOMMY'S POV
I said goodbye to my mother and walked her out to her car. After she left, I went inside and turned on some dumb TV show. Only a few minutes went by before the doorbell rang.
I walked over to open it and saw Adam standing outside.
"Come in," I invited him. He had a couple of bags, so I helped him carry them upstairs to the bedroom we'd be sharing for a few days.
"Thank you for inviting me to stay with you," Adam said. I smiled at him.
"Thank you for coming. I hate being alone. So whataya wanna do?"
"Honestly, I just wanna chill and watch TV for a bit. I'm kinda tired," was his response.
"Okay. We can hang out on the couch. Want anything to eat or drink?" I asked him.
"Nah, thanks for asking though."
We walked downstairs to the couch. He sat down on the love seat and I sat next to him. Adam put his arm on the back of the couch behind me. I felt a lot safer with him being here with me.

ADAM'S POV
I put my arm around Tommy subtly. Maybe if I just did little signs of affection like that, my urges would be dealt with. He turned on the TV to some random TV show. I didn't care what was on. I just wanted to look at him. And it worked because he was closer to the TV. His eyes were amazing. And I wanted nothing more than to kiss his beautiful lips.
Stop I mentally shook myself. I can't let myself daydream about him because I know I can't control myself forever.
I could tell he began to grow tired by the moment. His eyes were barely open. He fell asleep after a few minutes and his head landed gently on my shoulder.
What was I supposed to do? I gently kissed his forehead and rested my head on his. After a little bit, I too fell asleep.

TOMMY'S POV
I woke up to my head on Adam's shoulder and his head on top of mine. My hand was on his knee. I looked over at him without waking him up. He looked cute with his messy hair and messed-up eyeliner.
"Adam," I spoke quietly.
"Yeah?" he replied after a second.
I don't know what I was thinking, but I leaned in and kissed him on the lips. I pulled away after a second, but then he kissed me back. Our lips danced together in perfect time. I felt more alive than I ever had. I just didn't know what would happen in the future. This moment has changed so much in my life. I don't know what the rest of my life will become. I guess I'll find out...
