TOMMY'S POV
It was finally fall break, and I plopped down on my bed as soon as I got home. I had only been in school for two weeks, and things had gotten better, but I didn't have any friends except for Adam, with whom I had no classes. Not that I'm complaining. Adam makes up for it.
Speaking of Adam, I've been thinking about him a lot lately. I really like his eyes. Their light blue colour makes me feel like I could just gaze into them forever.
"Hey Mom," I shouted down the stairs.
"Yes?"
"Could I invite Adam to sleep over for a few days since you're going to be gone?" She was going to Las Vegas with a few friends of hers.
"Sure, honey," she replied.
I dialed his number and he answered on the first ring. We had texted for a few days and he didn't have anything planned for spring break, so I hoped he'd say yes.
"Hello?" He sounded tired.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"
He perked up instantly at the sound of my voice. "It's fine. I should be up anyway. Hi."
"Hey, sorry," I told him. I felt really bad now. I should've waited until later.
"Don't be."
"Okay, so I have a proposition," I said.
"Sounds interesting...."
"Would you like to stay at my place for a few nights while my mother is out of town? We could watch movies and play video games and just do whatever."
"I'd absolutely love to. When should I be there and what should I bring?" he asked.
"Tonight around seven and whatever you want."
"Alright. I'll be there. Thanks for inviting me."
"Of course. See you soon. Bye."
"Bye. I love- I love this idea."
"Me too," I replied and hung up. I straightened up my room and put out a spare bed for him to sleep on. I was so happy he wanted to come. I hate being alone.ADAM'S POV
I was so excited that he asked me to stay with him for a few days. I packed my things and got ready to go over to his house. My only concern was whether or not I could control myself around him. I've never felt this way around anyone. I don't know what's happening to me. I guess I'll find out.
