I watched as a cloud of angst settled over the classroom as worry mixed with extciment filled everyones orbs. I rolled my eyes. This was boring. Next to me, my besties shivered with anticipation. I looked back at Shiemi, who looked down at her Victoria Secret Jetsetter hanging bag in worry for the task ahead. I scoffed. She' d probably be too week for this and she didn't seem to be taking this too seriously, unlike me. I HAD to make Yuuji proud of me. I wondered if I had time to crack out my Nokia to text him...
We were then moved into another classroom to see if we could summon any familiars.
"Your not going to look down on me if I can't summon a familiar, are you Pookie?" Shima joked. We had decided to call each other pet names on the way to this classroom as that's what besties do, apparently- I've never had friends before so I wouldn't know, other than Yuuji.
"Of course not, Pinky. I would never do that to one of my besties." I replied. In the corner of eye I saw Rin look at me, then he started to walk over. Once he reached me he grabbed me small wrists and pulled me away from me besties.
"Since when were you dating Shima" Rin said in a low voice. Fire danced in hiss eye, was he ......jealous???? Over little me??? I looked into his aquamarine orbs, flustered.
"I-i-i-i, no we are just besties"
" Besties dont call each pet names" he growled. nI began to grow angry.
" well, I won't know. Ive never had friends before, no one has ever wanted to be me friend" Is aid as I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. Rin looked at me in sympathy but before he could say anything, the teach burst in.
"Hello Class, stop talking, I'm the most important person here. I'm Neuhaus, lets begin. We don't do instructions here." He said. Kamkiki then took a step forward.
"I humbly beseech thee, Mike, Uke, come to my aid" She said as two foxes appeared next to her. Everyone stared in awe. Except for me of course. When you're from a family as elite as I am, you're not surprised when someone from another elite family summons a familiar. Then that Shiemi girl then stepped forward.
"Double, double toil and trouble, Fire burn and caldron bubble, Sugar spice and all things nice, errrr, something something, come to me..... please" Next to her, appeared a small leafy man, that looked like a bear. looking towards the one that summoned him, the familiar, called Nee, looked as though he was about to cry and ask to be relieved of his duty. poor Nee, I if I was summoned by Shiemi, id feel the same......
The class then took turns at try to summon a familiar. No one else was successful of course and I was still in shock that Shiemi had managed to summon a familiar. Then it was my turn. My besties cheered me on.
"Good luck Pookie!!!!" Shima cheer, I than scowled at him. I didn't need luck! I stepped forward and decided to summon my lesser familiars as Leviathan was too big to fit in the classroom (A?N That's what she said lmao).
"By the divine right of Lapis, I call out to thee, the loyal servants of Egyn, recite my bidding" I called out. Five mid-sized serpents made from pure Tasmanian rain water (A?N this was sponsored btw) surrounded me. Everyone gasped in awe, except Shiemi, whose sage jade emerald green eyes glimmered with envy. Well, I suppose Shiemi had green eyes for a reason. Poor Nee edged further away from Shiemi.
"woah, Pookie, that's mad impressive bruh!!" Even Bon smiled as he was impressed my skills (skills to pay billz), and he was never impressed. I would know, I had been his HASHTAG besties 4 life for a grand total of 2 days now. I smiled and took a picture on my Nokia to send to yuuji to show him what meh friends looked like. I hoped he was proud of me and his spirit was stilll stonk without me in the house.
"Oh and Shima. Stop calling me that. I now know the social historical cultural context behind that now" I said while smiling at Rin who blushed a rose gold pink.
