Untold Truth.

Chapter 18

Days later the Doctor himself brought the DNA results to Damien. Damien called Myra and his usual friends since they were the only people that knew about this. Damien had decided whatever the results will be his love for Gia will remain. Myra on the other hand was not sure of what to think. I mean it is good if the results turn out to be positive, Gia would have found her father and if they turn negative, she will still be the mother. But what if Damien has other plans she thought? Her thoughts were cut short by Damien talking.

''The results are positive. Gia is my daughter. Damien said. Everybody sighed in relief even Myra, but she could not help but ask.

''What now. what is going to happen?'' She asked. Damien saw the worry in her voice, and he knew what she was thinking.

''Nothing changes Myra. You will still be the mother. I was not even planning on changing the mother of my child which is you.'' He spoke. 

'' I am so relieved,'' Myra said a smile breaking on her face. The guys saw where this was going so, they excused themselves and were left alone.

''What did you mean by that?'' She asked teasing him. 

''Well, i like you, Myra. And I am not going to get rid of you that easily.'' He added jokingly. Myra laughed a little bit and Damien thought, there goes the laugh again.

 ''Well, i also like you.'' She said and she made eye contact with him. The tension in the room increased and one could hear the beating of two hearts. Both stood there staring at each other not sure of what should be done next. They moved close to one another. Warmth evolved from Myra's chest spark igniting as Damien leaned in close, lips brushing together hesitantly for the first time. The smell of her perfume, of the soft, vanilla conditioner was dizzying, butterflies dancing in her stomach but warmth consumed her as she leaned into the kiss. Damien's lips are impossibly soft against her own. The kiss was passionate and deep. Their bodies pressed together heatedly against the wall, breathing heavily and their lips pressed together as Damien fumbled to take off her clothes.

''Damien,'' Myra said catching her breath and Damien stopped. Understanding what she meant. They looked into each other's eyes. But the contact was broken by a knock on the door.

''Mommy come and see something,'' Giada said Myra followed her and she looked at Damien one last time before leaving.

Damien was left thinking about what had just happened, and he could not help smiling. 

''Damien, we found something Tony's said. Damien followed him out of the office to where the other guys were.

''what is it.'' He asked.

''The night that Miranda left, the guards at the front door did not see so she went through the back door. We found a cell phone in her belongings. We looked through the phone and a transaction were made, and a person named Luca had talked to her the same night.'' Tony said. 

''But this Luca guy is a smart fella coz there are no records of him,'' Joaquin added. 

Damien listened to all the information given to him attentively.

''Also, since Myra found Gia on the dumpsite near her apartment it could mean that Miranda gave birth at the hospitals nearby, we could start from there,'' Leo said.

''I have already run the information on the hospitals nearby that area and I have found one. St Mary Hospital.'' Lars said.

''That is good,'' Damien told him and the five of them left to go to the hospital.

Thirty minutes later they arrived at the hospital. The hospital had no equipment at all it only had the most important ones, and a few doctors and nurses were present.

''We need information on something. On the Tuesday of the twenty-seventh, two years ago, a patient who was pregnant came in. And we want to see the doctor who was in charge. We need a Favour from him.'' Joaquin said. The woman on the counter started to protest saying she cannot give information on the patients to strangers, but Joaquin did what he does best, and the woman gave them the name. Doctor Murphy was his name. 

The woman showed them into his office. They did not even knock. When the doctor saw the men, he recognized them, and he swallowed a lump in his throat.

''Start talking,'' Damien said placing his gun on the table. The doctor told them every single detail, including the amount of money that he was given, and also described how Luca looked.

''Do not hurt me.'' The doctor said after giving them the information. Damien looked at Leo and a punch landed on his face punch after punch after punch. They did not kill him though. But he was left unconscious.
