Some days passed, and Bennett was preparing himself for another trip to meet his best friend at Wolvendom, he was about to leave his house when Fischl and Oz appeared:

-Hello my dear adventurer friend! Where do you head on this glorious day?

-Oh hey Fischl! I'm heading to Wolvendom! Wanna come with me?

The girl's face immediately darkened:

-So you're going to meet your little wolf friend? Very well, I shall accompany you then.

-Alright! Let's get going!

The three of them headed towards the gates of Mondstadt, the girl with a mischievous grin on her face, that passed unnoticed by the other two.

When they reached the forest, the group saw Razor hiding in the bushes, he stared at a boar eating some apples that had fallen from a nearby tree. The pray was distracted, it was the perfect time to strike.

But suddenly, a purple light flashed next to the boar and scared him, making him run away. Razor was quite frustrated at the occurrence, while Bennett and Oz were confused:

-What was that?

Asked the adventurer:

-Don't know.

Fischl answered quickly, Razor looked at her suspiciously but didn't say anything. The other boy and the bird looked at them in confusion, but also didn't say anything.

They started taking a walk in the forest while chit-chatting about life when randomly, a hilichurl appeared and attacked Bennett. Who fell at the impact.

Razor immediately drew his claymore and tried to attack the monster, but failed and got hit in the back instead. The thrust was surprisingly strong for a hilichurl, so much so that even the wolf boy was impressed.

The girl summoned Oz to attack the creature, but all his attacks barely even tickled the target. The hilichurl then attacked Oz, which incapacitated the raven and made him retreat, the adventurer wondered how it knew about Oz's weakness, but didn't have time to put his finger on it because the next target would be him. The creature stroke the boy with his club and severely injured him, the boy was fallen to the floor, blood all over him. That panicked Razor, who got immediately up in shock and tried to charge the monster. Mindlessly, he used his vision and managed to hit the hilichrul, but all hope was lost when he noticed that it hadn't affected the creature at all.

After noticing the attempt, the monster turned and hit the wolf boy in the face, making Razor take a step back to try not to get hit again.

Fischl confidently shot an arrow at the hilichurl, which somehow ended him. Making the creature fade away and the battle end.

The girl frustratingly went to the other electro user:

-Look what you've done!

-What?

-Just look at Bennett - she pointed at the other boy - he is unconscious! If you hadn't been so dense he would still be okay.

-B-but I... I was trying my best!

He said in an almost sorrowful tone:

-Well then your best is surely not enough. What were you thinking when you tried to charge the hilichurl with electro energy? When Oz attacked him, didn't you notice that he was immune to it?

-Wha-what? No...

The blonde girl turned around and walked in the direction of the unconscious adventurer:

-Well- she said in a superior tone when she stopped - if I were you, I would walk away in shame and try to avoid him, so that something like this doesn't happen again.

The boy stopped to think for a moment, he really liked hanging out with Bennett, but he couldn't stand seeing him hurt:

-Please, take care of Benny.

He said, then went away, looking back a thousand times just to make sure the girl would heal his wounds.

"I don't deserve Benny, I am not good enough, bird girl is better, Benny is better with her". Razor cuddled around the wolfpack, silent tears falling from his eyes, Bennett had been through enough, he only deserved the best of friends, and in his mind, he was not one of them.
