Chapter 11: Communication

Some days before Lisa had her talk with Razor, the woman was just lazily sitting at the library, reading a book when suddenly, Klee came barging in loudly, crying and throwing herself into the librarian's arms:

-What happened little one?

-Razor doesn't want to play with Klee anymore!

-And why is that?

-He said that he is not strong enough to protect Klee and told me to go away!

-Why would he do that?

-I don't know! But you have to talk to him auntie Lisa you have to! You are the only one he listens to! Except for Bennett... but he can't go, he's hurt I think.

-Oh god, what happened to the poor kid this time?

-I-I don't know. I asked him the other day and he told me he didn't want to talk about it. He seemed really stressed about it too.

The woman sighed and got up:

-I'll talk to him darling, just not now.

-Ok Auntie Lisa!

The electro user got out of the Favonius headquarters and headed to the adventurer's house she knocked on the door and waited till someone answered. She heard noises from inside the house, a big thud and then finally, the pyro vision wielder opened the door:

-Good morning Bennett.

-Oh-oh Hi Miss Lisa! Need something?

-No, not really, just wanted to talk to you.

-Really? Ok, I guess. Come in.

The woman got inside the house and sat on the couch, the boy sat on a chair beside her:

-So, I heard from Klee that you got injured, may I know what happened?

-I don't really like talking about it, you know.

-It's ok, take your time.

He shifted uncomfortably in his chair and looked at the other, waiting for something to happen, anything that could make him get out of that awkward situation. But she didn't budge, nor did she say anything, she just looked at him softly. The boy sighed, then finally spoke:

-I was out at Wolvendom with Razor and Fischl when a hilichurl randomly came and attacked us. Then he knocked me unconscious and I don't know what happened next but when I woke up I was at the church, Barbara healing me and Fischl sat beside me. She told me Razor had gotten angry when I got knocked out and blamed it all on Fischl. I don't believe he did that though, Razor would never do that.

The librarian nodded in response:

-I'm still recovering from the encounter with the hilichurl, he hit me hard you know? I wanted to go to Wolvendom to sort things out with Razor but everyone insists that I don't. I think they all believe what Fischl said, and probably think Razor is a treat, I have nothing to prove otherwise...

-Well, Klee went to Wolvendom to visit him and told me that he was acting weirdly, saying he wasn't strong enough to protect her and told her to go away.

The boy stood silent, overthinking what the other just said:

-Klee wants me to go talk to him.

-Will you?!

-I'm planning to, but-

-Please Miss Lisa, can you try to bring him to Mond?

-Wha- Why?

-I want to try to talk to him personally! I mean, it would be great to bring him here to my place, so that both of us could have some alone time. - he got up and started to walk around in circles - Then I could sort everything out without going to Wolvendom. And he would finally come to Mondstadt and I could show him around, introduce him to everyone, and show them that he isn't a bad person! Please Miss Lisa you have to try to make him come here!

-Fine, I'll try to.

-Thank you so much Miss Lisa I really don't know how I can repay you!

-You don't have to darling.
