When the wolf boy woke up the next morning he didn't feel like starting the day yet. All the other wolves were already out in the wild, he was the only one still sleeping, which was a rare thing since Razor was always one of the first ones to wake up.
He lazed around a bit more before finally deciding to get up, he looked for his claymore and went hunting. He liked to hunt when things went wrong, it was a good way to distract himself. Looking for boar, he found a hilichurl camp, thoughts of the last encounter with a hilichurl fueled his mind, but he didn't know if he should be angry or scared.
Thinking from another perspective, it would be better to destroy the camp instead of running away. The wolves would be safer, visitors would be safer, and he would be safer. But on the other hand, what if those monsters were just like the other? What if they knocked him unconscious and possibly ended him? There wasn't any Fischl to save the day and drag him to safety.
Razor's doubt in his abilities wasn't going to help him make a decision, and he hated it when he didn't know what to do. So for his mood's sake, he threw a rock at a tree, if the creatures noticed, he would fight them, if they didn't, he would go away.
As soon as the rock hit the tree, one of the hilichurls looked at him. There, he had to fight them now.
But the wolf boy didn't move, was that a good idea? Fighting the monsters, that is. Should he have run away before, should he run away now? Is he going to make it? Doubts, so many doubts flew into his head, making him not think straight.
The creature was aiming, the electro user looking blandly at it, crossbow ready, Razor not.
It was about to take a shot when suddenly, a little red ball flew straight to the hilichurls head, it fell on impact with it.
"Jumpy Dumpty go!", Razor heard someone say, then boom! A huge explosion hit the camp, destroying everything, including the monsters.
Razor looked up, the silhouette of a little red girl on top of the cliff, standing with her hands on her hips:
-Klee's here to save the day! Those were bad guys, right?
The girl got down from the cliff and went to the boy:
-Lucky I had made that ultra bomb earlier! I filled it to the brim with pyro for extra explosiveness, I should start doing that to my other bombs too!
-Klee.
-Yes Razor? Wait... you're not scolding me, right? Those were the bad guys!
-No no! It's just... Klee should not be here, it's not safe.
-But Razor is here to protect me! And now that I have these super cool bombs, you just have to tell me who to hit! Razor doesn't have to worry!
He gave her a sad look:
-Razor is not able to protect Klee anymore. Razor is not strong. Klee is better off without Razor. Klee is better off not coming here.
-B-b-but, but I thought Razor was the strongest! Didn't you tell me you would always protect me? You pinky promised I remember very well! You can't just turn on me like that! - she cried - You were always strong and you knew that! You just can't tell me you're not out of the blue!
-Razor is not strong. Klee needs to go!
-Fine! - The little red girl screamed - And I am telling Lisa, she will solve this.
The girl ran away, the wolf boy looked back, then continued his path.
Although he wanted to, he couldn't forget what just happened, Klee looked heartbroken, he didn't like it when she did. But then he remembered what she said, she's going to tell Lisa, Lisa's coming to Wolvendom and Lisa's going to talk to him. That would be his opportunity. Despite being very lazy, the woman was very strong, and very scary, even for Razor. She had trained him on how to use his electro vision, she had mastery over hers. With her, the boy could get stronger. He was sure she would come to Wolvendom, but he wasn't sure if she would train him. It was worth a try anyway, he just had to wait.
With Lisa training him, he would get way better at fighting, then, he would be able to protect Klee. Protect Bennett! And maybe, just maybe, be better than Fischl.
