Chapter Eight

China

Red let me drive his moms silver Jaguar since it was just sitting in his garage.

I wanted to drive his Camaro or his Benz but he said I won't crash one of his cars.

I'm at a corner store getting some backwoods before I go meet up with Lola.

I pay a crackhead to get my backwoods then I get back into the car.

I start to crank up and someone knocks on the window..

I look at the window, seeing Mesha.

I haven't talked to her since the pool party..

"Hey" I speak, rolling the window down.

"Hey bae can I get in and talk to you?" Mesha asks me

Why does she need to get in and talk to me?

"Sure" I answer not wanting to be rude.

I unlock the door and she gets into the passenger side.

"This a nice ass car. Who's car is this?"

"Red let me drive it" I tell her.

"Damn, he letting you drive his cars now?" She asks shocked.

I nod.

"Sorry for telling Red that you were a prostitute at the pool party, it just slipped out. I was so shocked when he said he was your boyfriend. No hard feelings?" She questions, putting her hand into her purse.

"Yeah, no hard fee-" I start to say but she covers my face with a rag.

Everything goes black...

"Damn where the hell this girl at?" I say to myself.

I just got home from the trap but China still isn't back and she told me she would be back before me..

I call her phone...

No answer.

I call again...

No answer.

It's not like her to not pick up my calls.

I instantly go back out to my car, driving to the hotel her friend lives at...

I pull up to the hotel, looking around for China's white friend.

"How may I help you?" The lady at the front desk asks me.

"I'm looking for a Laura- Lola !" I say remembering that her name is Lola.

"Do you have a last name ?" She asks me.

"No bu-" She cuts me

"Then I can't disclose that information sir, sorry" She pisses me off just as the elevator opens and Lola walks out.

"Lola!" I speak, walking over to her.

"Hey Red, have you seen China ? She was suppose to be coming to hang out with me but never showed. I've been calling her all day" Lola says causing me to worry.

"I just came to ask you the same question" I tell her.

"Oh my god. I hope she's okay" Lola furrows her eyebrows worried.

"I'll let you know when I find out" I tell her.

"Thanks"

"See lady, I know her!" I tell the lady at the front desk as I walk out.
