Chapter Eighteen

China

I wake up from my sleep with a queasy feeling causing me to run to the bathroom.

I open the toilet and throw up..

Wiping my mouth with the back of my hand, I get up and flush the toilet before washing my hands and face and brushing my teeth.

I sigh before walking out of the bathroom and back to Reds hospital bed.

"You ok?" Red asks me.

I lay back down next to him.

"Yeah, I'm fine but this baby is kicking my ass"

I pick my phone up checking the time.

It's ten in the morning and Red gets discharged from the hospital tomorrow.

"I love you" Red rubs my stomach.

"I love you too" I tell him.

"I was talking to my baby but I love you too" He says causing me to burst into laughter.

He starts to laugh also.

The door opens and the doctor walks in.

"How are you feeling?" The doctor asks Red.

"I'm feeling good" Red answers sitting up.

"That's good to hear, here's another dose of your pain medication" The doctor hands Red a cup with pills in it and a cup of water.

Red takes the pills and drinks the water.

"I'll Prescribe you some pain pills for when you're discharged, also I'll give you some more bandages to wrap around torso, you'll have to switch them out frequently until your bullet wounds heal completely. Other than that you're all set to go home tomorrow" The doctor says writing on his clip board.

"Ok, thanks doc" Red tells him.

"My pleasure" The doctor gives a small smile before leaving the room.

"I can't wait to get the fuck out of here" Red tells me once the doctor leaves.

"I know" I rub his back softly.

Brent

"What you mean you got robbed?" I ask Georgia boy.

I sit on Reds desk in the trap.

"I mean I got robbed" He says furring his eyebrows like he mad.

"Nigga don't get mad at me cause your bitch ass let somebody take Red money" I stand up.

"I got the money to pay him back but I take care of my whole family. I ain't got six hundred thousand to spare" He tells me

"You better figure something out. Make that money appear nigga like Houdini" I look him up and down.

"I'll take it up with Red. He know I take care of at least thirty people, nigga I ain't got to explain nothing to you" He tells me before leaving.

Snake ass nigga.

I don't think he got robbed I personally think he took that money...

I leave Reds office, closing the door behind me before leaving the trap and driving to the hospital to tell Red that Georgia Boy owe him six hundred thousand dollars.

After twenty five minutes I pull up to the hospital...

"What's up Big A" I speak to Big A as I walk pass him.

"Nothing much dawg" Big A tells me.

I walk into Red's room and close the door behind me.

"What's up" Red speaks as I enter the room.
