College party Au (The crew is of age in this story)
TW! Slight mention of assault

It was Thursday, at 9 in the morning, Aris was running way late to their 8:45 class. They round the corner with intense speed, mind running so fast they didn't realize the crowd in front of them. Oh titan!? Are you serious!! I can't be even more late!! Trying to look over the many many heads to see what the commotion is about they bump into a familiar face. "Tala!" "Hey Aris, what's up?" "Well, since you asked.... I'M RUNNING LATE!" They mimic a sobbing face, whining. "Oh that sucks, but if it makes you feel better, I think everyone is running late, this crowd has been here for a while, I've been trying to push my way through for 20 minutes." "Oh... really?" Aris looks up out of their hands. "Yeah, from what I've got a glimpse of, it seems like a pretty bad fight is going on. The teachers can't even get in to stop it." "Woah. Can you see who, do you know who?" "Nope, just some construction user and abomination user." Aris tried to jump up and down to get a glimpse of the faces, but to no avail. "Well I guess Professor Raine can't get mad at me now..." Aris' stressed face turned smug, "So I guess I'll just sit back and watch." Tala gave a disappointing shake of the head, "Just because you can't get through doesn't mean you shouldn't still try to get to class." Aris shrugged, "Yeah but what's the fun in that." The two both turned their heads towards the crowd and continued watching. "Oh by the way," Tala spoke, eyes still focusing on trying to find the center of the commotion, "Skara's holding a party at her apartment tonight if you want to come, she said to invite anyone you want." Aris' face turned solemn for a second, "Tala, you know how I feel about Skara." "Oh please, she broke your heart back in junior year, plus everyone we know is probably going to go, just go for them..." Tala scoffed, sometimes she really hated how long Aris held a grudge. "Anyway, I'm going to find another way to class, think about the party, I'll see you later." Tala waved goodbye and headed out the crowd, slowly disappearing from sight.

For the rest of Aris' few classes, their mind was plagued by the decision of going to this party or not. Well there's a chance I won't actually see her, even though it's at her apartment. Plus I can just ignore her if I need to. Aris' face scrunched in frustration and they let out a groan. Their lab partner looked at them weird before going back to the lab, Aris was very much not helping. Aris grabbed a beaker handing it to their partner, which was returned with a sarcastic thank you. If I go, maybe I could see them...

With Goose
Goose was in the middle of one of her many TA sessions. She was showing her tutee how to add more realness to their illusions. "Hey Goose." "Goose looked up at the student, 'What's up? Got a question about the Illusions?" "No no, I think I got it. I just wanted to say, Skara is having a party at her apartment tonight, you should come." The students' illusion then disappeared. Which was followed by a laugh from Goose, "Maybe you should focus a little more. But I probably shouldn't, I have some homework and TA papers to do tonight." The student's new illusion disappeared again, twice as fast, "That's exactly why you should come!!! You need to take the load off for a night and have fun!" When they had realized their illusion was once again gone, they sheepishly chuckled and started spinning a new one. "Ok, I'll... think about it." "Awesome!"

That's exactly what Goose did, during the rest of her TA meetings and walk home, she thought about the party. She didn't get out enough, she knew that. Maybe it would be good for me, I haven't had a good break in a few weeks. She opened the door to her apartment, setting her bag down then closing the door behind her. She walked to her kitchen counter, looking at the pile of TA paperwork and tests that needed to be graded. She mumbled a groan. Yeah, I'm definitely going to that party.

With Cadence
Cadence also got stuck in the crowd surrounding the fight at the beginning of the day but she hadn't stayed long, no longer than five minutes went by before she had started to find a different way to class. It was quite a nuisance she thought, although it was nice having knowledge of multiple ways to her first class, it was just too early in the morning. Why must they fight at 9 in the morning? And in the middle of campus nonetheless. When she got into her oracle class she sat in her seat, next to her classmate Celine. "Hey Cadence! You're later than usual, must've been that crazy fight huh?" Cadence dug through her bag, grabbing her notebook, "Yeah, I don't understand how people have enough energy for a full blown fight so early." Celine nodded, "Agreed." Which was followed by laughter from the two. "By the way, have you heard about Skara's party tonight? Almost everyone I've talked to today is going," Celine said, flipping to a clean page in her notebook. "Party? No, I haven't, but that sounds like an abundance of people will be there," Cadence said, although she wasn't antisocial, a bunch of sweaty college students in a small apartment didn't sound ideal. "Yeah, but it'll be fun to get out and party, you should totally come," Celine reasoned. Cadence nodded silently, Celine's right, all the other parties this year have been sorority and frat parties, it'll be nice going to one that's not connected to all that crap.
