"james?" i spoke. "james wake up."
i watched him open his eyes and look over at me. "what." he groaned.
"ive been here for two days, im gonna get home."
he sat up without looking away from me.
"or, crazy idea, my parents could adopt you." he said, hopefully. i grabbed my bag and threw all my stuff in it.
"please i wish, i love your mom." i whined. we both walked over to the door and went downstairs.
me and james sat on the couch, he pulled out his phone and i sat watching the tv.
"hey kids, i made breakfast do you want anything??" his mom came out of the kitchen.
"no thanks euphy, thank you though!" i told her.
"yeah no thanks mom!" james replied
"you're welcome kids, sirius are you going home today?" she asked.
"yeah euphy, sorry."
"completely fine. do you need a ride?" she asked
"no my parents dont even know i left." i laugjed awkwardly.
fleamont, who was previously sitting on the couch, came over and hugged me. i hugged back, obviously.
"siri, youre always welcome here." he rubbed my back.
"siri?" i asked him.
"well jamsie over here has a nickname from me, you get one too." he winked.
james huffed and crossed his arms, i only laughed.
"okay well i should probably get going. my parents are going to realize im gone." i said. "bye euphy and fleamont!" i looked at james. "bye jamsie!" i mocked, shutting the door behind me as i walked out.

"imagine if lyall lupin found you! he wouldve killed you for being my son!" my dad yelled, alcohol coming off his breath.
i swallowed air and looked up at my father.
"i think it'd do you a favor." i choked.
"what'd you say boy?!" his hand wrapped perfectly around my neck.
i choked more under his grasp.
"well!?" he yelled again.
i held my breath and just hoped he let go.
he did.
i gasped and tried to get air.
my dad looked disgusted at me. i knew my mom had stuff to say to me aswell, she walked over towards me.
her walk was smooth and evenly timed. her hair was tied back into a low bun and she had a long black dress which covered all the way down to her feet.
