"remus honey, wake up." i heard my mom whisper. "todays your first day at your new school, remember?" she finished shortly.

i groaned and opened my eyes to a bland room, we had only moved in a week ago. i smiled up at my mom who smiled back and turned out of the room.

i got up and blinked while the world came into view. i put on my glasses and checked my phone. i saw no new notifications and sat it back on my nightstand shortly.

i stood up and walked a few steps over to my dresser. i put on a blue sweater and baggy blue jeans and paired it with black converse. i took my glasses off and put in my contacts then walked out of my room.

"morning mom, dad." i said bubbly.

"goodmorning sweetpea." my mom replied while sliding a bowl of cereal across the kitchen counter.

"mornin kid." my dad replied. "uh son, you look gay wearing that."

i felt my breath catch in my throat. "oh uh, really dad, sorry." i said and scooped up the cereal with a spoon.

"mhm just get to school kid, dont be late." he said.

i shoved a spoonful of cereal into my mouth and slid it back over to my mom.

"might as well get a head start on walking." i told to my mom and kissed her on the cheek.

"no no honey its fine, i can drive you." she said.

"if you want too." i told her "bye dad." i muttered while not looking at my father. he grunted in reply as my mom grabbed her car keys and walked out the door.

*sirius black*

"sirius are you even listening?" regulus interrupted my thoughts. "huh? oh uh yeah lets get to school" i said.

he rolled his eyes and threw me my keys, then jogged over to the door. i stepped out but quickly stepped back inside.

"bye mom! bye dad!!" i yelled and slammed the door behind me.

i opened my car door and sat inside. i put my keys in the ignition and turned them. regulus shut the door and clicked his seatbelt. i turned the key and looked back while i backed out of the driveway.

*remus lupin*

"honey i dont get why your nervous, you're a good person and everyones gonna love you!!" my mom told me.

"thats not why im nervous mom. just forget it everything will be fine." i told her, mostly myself.

my mom pulled into the parking lot and stopped in the closest lot to the school. i clicked my phone off and placed it in my bag.

i opened the car door and stepped out. i brushed my sweater and jeans off while i looked up at the new school and all the students walking in.

i started walking over to the entrance closest to me while i heard my mom back out of the parking lot.
