"wait." sirius started "your dad knows mine?"
"yeah i guess so. if your dad is orion black." i told him
he flinched at the name and looked at his wrapped up wrist. "thats not good." he said "does your dad know we're friends? like at all?"
"i havent told him anything. he assumes so because i talk about you alot." i said shortly
"you talk about me?" he smirked "but thats not good."
"why isnt that okay?" i asked him
"listen so." he started "your dad, lyall lupin, is the chief of police. right?"
"yeah."
"meaning he has busted gangs and drug deals, right?"
"what are you getting at? and stop explaining it like im 5." i whined
"basically." he paused "my dad is involved in an infamous gang that has been busted on multiple drug deals and if your dad finds out something bad could happen, either to you or our friendship, but i dont wanna find out." he said in one breath
"slow down." i started "your dad is the leader of a gang?" i asked
"i just said that you dumb hoe."
"im leaving." i stood up.
"wait no please im sorry!" he called "james has visited me twice in the last 3 hours and has sang to me both times. that boy cant sing."
we stared blankly at each other, both starting to laugh slowly.
"all im thinking of is james singing his heart out while strumming random cords on a guitar." i laughed
i walked next to sirius, who had sat up while we were laughing, and sat next to him on the bed.
"so when are you released?" i asked him
"tomorrow." he said "dont forget to give me my car back."
"i would never." i giggled.
he laughed, then looked at me blankly.
"what?"
he didnt move.
"what?" i asked again.
i he moved his free arm onto the back of my neck, pulling me closer.
"sirius what-"
"do you trust me?" he interrupted
"of course-"
"then trust me." he breathed and pulled me into him.
i felt his lips move onto mine softly. he kept his hand on the back of my neck. it finally clicked in my head what was happening and i kissed him back.
i moved my hand onto his leg to push into him more. our lips moved rhythmically together, until he pulled away.
"fuck." he started "fuck remus i am so sorry-"
