Chapter twenty five- kicking some asses

They lasted like this until a loud explosion could be heard from the outside.
Quickly Jinx took Onyx's hand and pulled her away, behind some shimmer barrels, before the trap door was opened and 2 firelights entered the storage room of the air ship.

As soon as their feet hit the ground, the trap door locked and the deep blue atmosphere returned once again. Panicking, they banged against the shut door, without any luck. Well well

Slithering around them Pow- Jinx sent me signals, to wait, as I pulled out a tactical knife. Accepting their faith, they enflamed a torch going in deeper into the storage room, paranoia getting the best of them, as they turned and jumped every 0.2 seconds. "She's here..." the firelight in the back mumbled in a shivering voice, as he stared at the monkey on the door. "What the..." the other firelight held his arm in front of his partner, stopping him. "What?" He replied confused, looking where the firelight pointed, analyzing a blood red rose on the floor, the still wet paint glowing in their light. "What the..."

They couldn't finish their thought, since metal clanking caught their attention, spinning around they were met with a glimpse of blue hair, only for it to disappear into the dark halls again. Looking down on them, ticking caught their full attention.
"Fuck."

Purple dust filled the air, pushing a pulsing wave through the trapdoor catching everyone's attention. The shockwave, shock the entire airship, pushing over the barrels of Shimmer down there.
Coughing out the inhaled purple dust both of the girls took a big step over the bodies of the firelights, escaping the burning storage room together.

The five remaining firelights got into their fighting stance as they turned into the direction the smoke emerged from, their hands resting on their weapons.
Sevika as well as her men, still caught in the firelights crystal bombs could only move their eyes to the source of the explosion.

Two synchronized footsteps slowly emerged from the purple glittery smoke, one silhouette a bit taller than the other. Black and blue hair side by side, the black haired girl smirking while letting two katanas creakily slide on the floor behind her, the blue haired girl looking looking relaxed, with monkey bombs laying in her hands. "Nice bombs." the taller girl chuckled. "Nice Swords." the shorter girl replied, both of them smirking in excitement.

With one last glance at the firelights, Jinx brought her monkey bombs to her mouth activating them, before throwing them into two of their ugly masked faces, pushing them over the edge of the airship. At the shocked face of their leader, Onyx high-fived her before jumping into action herself. Using the leaders shock as distraction, she drew her swords, spinning them in their hands, before swinging them at the leader, who was barely able to dodge, a piece of his mask falling to the floor, revealing a deep cut in his cheek. Just as she was about to push her sword against his abdomen, another firelight pushed her to the ground, sending her katanas skidding over the ground. Quickly, she pulled out 3 throwing knives, hitting one firelight that attempted to shoot at Jinx, sending him with a pierced through temple to the ground. Just as she wanted to send the 2 one, the firelight on top of her, attempted to punch her with his cloved hands. Before he could do that, she elegantly brought her knee up to meet his abdomen, roughly kicking him off of her, making him wince in pain. Regaining her balance, she swung herself in her feet, walking over to where he tried to crawl away and stepped with one foot on his throat, keeping him in place. "fucker." Onyx let her knife fall down, cutting through his left eye. Pulling it out, she shook off the blood, sending a quick glance over to Jinx to see if she was okay. When she saw her shooting someone's brain out, she looked away with a 'that's my girl' smile on her face.
