Princess?

Chapter 10

Kenzies POV

It's been 2 weeks since I started dating Draco and it has been the happiest time in my life. He makes me smile constantly, laugh and, of course, I'm always blushing because of the flirtatious comments.

We've spent a decent amount of time in the library doing homework then we go back to my dorm since Draco is staying with me. Even with him staying in my dorm most nights, we haven't done much of anything then some quick kisses and lots of cuddling. It's so funny seeing how soft he is around me but to others he's still stand-offish.

As we exited the charms classroom, we started toward the great hall for dinner. I'm the walk we saw a lot of people looking at us, some shocked and others were giving me death glares.

A group of girls from Slytherin, stopped in front of us. All of them seemed to be younger than us.

"Can I help you all?" I ask

The girl leading them came up to me, inches from my face,"What are you doing with him?" She snarls.

I know she didn't just say that. "What did you just say?" I question.

She rolls her eyes,"You come in and scoop him up  so quickly, did you not think of the other girls here?" She said as she pushes me lightly.

I look at Draco and gave him a look to let me deal with this,"Why would I think of other girls? If he wanted any of you, he would've gotten with one of you in the two years I was gone, wouldn't he?" I question.

She looks at me, faltering for a second before he smirk reappeared,"You think he's yours but he'll dump you and come for me when he realizes your nothing but a face." She says then shoved me back.

Draco caught me and pulled me behind him,"I don't know who you are or who you think you are, but back off my girlfriend." He says, trying to remain calm.

She rolls her eyes and says in a matter of factly tone,"She doesn't deserve you, I would be so much better for you. It's not too late to come to me."

I see something inside of him snap," Your right, she doesn't deserve me, she deserves better. I'll never come to you, I've waited two whole years to be able to be with her and you will not ruin that."

He turned back to me, grabbed my hand and started walking towards the hall again. Before we went in I stopped him. He turned and looked at me, much softer then he looked at that girl.

"Draco, are you ok?" I ask him.

His face drops and he says,"I'm ok, it's just that girl pissed me off. Don't believe what she says, please, I will never leave you."

I smile at his answer,"It's ok Draco, I believe you." He smiles at me softly, still a little upset.

"Let's forget out this and go get dinner." I say, he smiles and we walk into the hall, hand in hand.

We were the first in our friend group to get there, despite our delay. We choose seats around the middle of the table. After a couple minutes the others came in one after another. Crabbe, Goyle and Theo sat across from us whereas Pansy sat beside me and Blaise sat by Draco.

I turned to Pansy and she asked me a question,"So when did that happen?"as she motioned to me and Draco.

I laugh at how eager she is before answering," Technically we starting dating this morning." She looks at me confused," What do you mean technically?" She asks.

"So last night in the common room I fell sleep in Draco's lap while you all had a conversation about me. Th-" I was about to continue when she cut me off,"He told you what we talked about?"

"No but I wasn't asleep but let me continue." She nodded yes eagerly," so after you all left he fell asleep too but woke up later that night. He carried me to my room and I told him to stay so he did. When we were laying there he asked to kiss me and I said yes." She started squealing and the boys turned to look at us.

Draco raised his eyebrows at me, questioning what's going on," It's nothing, go back to your conversation." I said with a smile.

Draco shakes his head and goes back to his conversation.

Pansy nudges me to continue," So we kiss then we cuddle and fall asleep." Pansy let's out a quiet aw and then questions,"So you didn't start dating last night?"

"Nope, when we woke up I asked what it meant and he admitted to liking me and then asked my to be his girlfriend. Which I obviously said yes too and here we are." I say, reaching over to get some pumpkin juice.

"Wow, what a story for the kids." She says as I just about choke on the juice.

Draco turns around,"Are you ok Princess?"

"Yea I'm fine. Thank you." I say giving him a reassuring smile. He smiles and wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. I look up at him and he's already looking at me.

We break eye contact when Goyle says,"Are you two gonna kiss or what? We're all waiting." While everyone laughs. At this point most of the Slytherin table is looking at us.

I look at Draco and he leans down, whispering in my ear,"We don't have to do it if you don't want to."

"And if I do?" I whisper in his ear then move so we are looking at each other again.

He smirks and leans over, cupping my cheeks where our lips almost meet.

We stay like that for a moment then he smashed his lips onto mine. I immediately kiss back in the hungry but passionate kiss. I feel him wanted to keep going but I pull away,"We can continue this later, everyone is watching us." "Promise?" He asks,"I promise." I say and he smiles. Both of us still panting, turn and see everyone looking at us as they all started clapping and whistling.

I feel my face go red and Draco's does the same. Ignoring everyone, we get up and walk hand and hand out of the hall.

"Did that actually just happen?" I asked Draco, as we stop and look at each other.

He grabs my other hand and looks at me," Yea and I'm glad it did. Now everyone knows your mine and I'm yours." I blush at how he admitted he's 'mine'.

"We have almost 8 hours before astronomy..." he says smirking.

"We do, don't we. Ya know I'm kinda tired," I fake yawn," I think I might take a nap." I say trying to contain my smile.

He smiles and says hopefully," Not before I get what you promised me."

As if I'd say no to a kiss him.

"I think that can be arranged." I say as his smile grew

Right when I finished he let go of one of my hands and we walked to the common room.
