Chapter 15

"Because I'm in love with you."

My eyes widened,"Am I hearing things or did you just tell me you're in love with me?" I say shocked.

"I did. I've been in love with you for a while I think it just took a while for me to realize what love is," he says as he rambles on, slightly looking up," It's a new feeling for me. I've never felt this way about anyone but you, I liked you before you left and was sad when you left. I even tried to move on but every-time I was with someone else... all I thought about was you. Then I realized that I'm in love with you, that I love you." He finishes as he looks back to me.

My mouth is slightly parted as I'm shocked he just opened up about everything.

I took a moment letting that process then just as I was about to say something, he spoke up

"You don't have to say anything, I said it too early or you-" before he finished, I cut him off," Would you let me talk for a second?"

He looked at me and shyly said,"Sorry, go ahead."

"Thank you." I took a deep breathe and let it out slowly then continued on," you didn't say it too early, Draco."

"I didn't?" He asked completely shocked and slightly confused.

I giggled and said," No, I'm in love with you Draco and I always have been." I look down at the end as blush creeped onto my face.

"Kenzie, look at me." He said sweetly yet demanding, so I look him in the eyes.

"I love you Kenzie Applewood."

"I love you Draco Malfoy." I say as the biggest smiles are painted across both of our faces.

He cups my face and pulls me into a passionate kiss.

After a couple seconds he pulled away and whispered in my ear," Or should I say Kenzie Malfoy?"

I felt my face heat up yet again but worse as I tried to hide it from him but he stopped me.

"Hey, don't ever hide from me. I love you for you." He said as he smiles and chuckles,"I'd even say the clingy side is my favorite."

"Good because you just made me more clingy saying you love me." I told him, smiling yet trying to be serious.

"I am perfectly fine with that ." He says as he brings be back into another kiss.

We made out for a couple minutes then pulled away.

Slightly panting I said," You're staying, right?"

"Baby, I stay with you every-night and do you really think I'd leave you after I just told you I loved you?" He says and chuckles a little.

I smile as we get under the blanket and I cuddle into his chest, nuzzling me head into his neck while inhaling his intoxicating smell.

He wrapped on arm around my waist securely while the other was stroking through my hair which was surprisingly very soothing, our legs tangled together.

"I can't wait to start our future together." Draco said quietly but loud enough for me to hear.

"We've already started it and hit a milestone in it." I said.

"What do you mean?" He questioned.

"Well, our future started when we met on the train to Hogwarts before we got sorted into houses." I said as I explained what I meant," our first milestone was becoming best friends, then surviving being away from each other for two years,-" before I could continue he cut in.

"Those were the worst 2 years of my life, only getting letters and not physically seeing or talking to you, just wanted you to know that. You can continue now." He said.

"It was for me too Draco. Our next milestone that night you kissed me and spent the night. Then when we officially got together and you became my boyfriend." I said.

Before I continued I let out a yawn then said," and this is our 5th milestone, realizing we are in love and telling each other I love you." I finished with a smile.

"I never looked at it that way but your right, that day before 1st year was the best day of my life because I met you." He said, I could feel his smile against my forehead," imagine where we would be if we had never met on the train that year."

"I don't want to imagine it because it doing involve you sleeping in my dorm in my arms after you told me you loved me." I said smiling.

I was getting really tired and was starting to drift off ,"Good night, I love you." I mumbled into his neck.

"Goodnight, I love you too Princess," he says as he presses a kiss on the top of my head.

I fell asleep in the arms of the man I love and now I know that he loves me too.

A/n- I know I've never written an a/n before but there's always a time to start.

I just wanted to apologize for not publishing in a while, I've had it rough recently but will try to publish more frequently.
