Chapter 7

Kenzies POV

I was woken up with the sun shining in my eyes and I moved my head the other way.

That's when I realized I was laying on his chest.

Draco's chest.

His arms were wrapped around me snuggly while our legs were wrapped together. My stomach started doing backflips again thinking of me laying on his bare, toned chest.

I hadn't moved off his chest as I laid there admiring his face.

I heard him groan since the sun had risen enough that it was in his eyes now.

He slowly opened his eyes, looking at me with his grey hues that I could look at all day.

"Good morning Princess." He says in a husky voice with a smile on his face.

I immediately blush but say,"Good morning handsome." This time he was blushing.

We laid there for a little until he spoke,"So last night..." then paused.

"We kissed." I finished for him," but what did it mean, Draco?" Even though I already knew what it meant

He looked over at me, hesitating for a minute then said," I- I like you Princess, I always have. I was scared to tell you because I- I don't want to lose you." He slightly looked down, seeming nervous about what I'd do.

I could tell he meant it because he was stuttering and he admitted he was scared of losing me.

I gently moved his chin so he was looking at me again. I looked into his grey eyes and said," I like you too, I have for a while." I smiled at him.

His nervous face turned into a smile as he move so we were leaned against the headboard, his arms still wrapped around me.

"If that's so Miss Applewood, would you do the honor in being my girlfriend?" He asked in a fake posh accent.

"Of course, Mr. Malfoy." I answer in my best posh accent.

We both looked into each other's eyes in silence, but it wasn't awkward, it was a comfortable silence.

He broke the silence first and asked quietly," Can I kiss you again?"

"You don't have to ask me pretty boy. I'm your girlfriend, just do it." I said while chucking.

He smiled and cupped my face and pulled me into a kiss.

We broke away after a couple of seconds. I wrapped my arms around him and put my head on his chest again. He snaked his arms around me, holding me tightly.

"Who would've known we'd be together this soon after being away from each other for so dreadful years." He said.

"Like I said yesterday to our friends, it's not like we didn't write to each other." I said laughing at how in awe he is at what just happened.

"Speaking of friends, what are we going to tell them?" He asked.

"We'll since at least three of them know you like you me we can just tell them." I said nonchalantly.

He looked at me confused for a second then you could tell he realized how I knew," You weren't asleep last night in the common room, were you?"

I chuckled and said," I was... after I heard the conversation about you liking me."

He looked at me in shock that he didn't know I was still awake.

"Calm down, Draco. Everything worked out fine." I said.

He smiles,"I'd say it worked out more than fine since the most beautiful and intelligent girl in the school is now my girlfriend."

I blush but say,"And I now the hottest boy at the school, who is captain of the quidditch team as my boyfriend."

He blushed now, turning his head trying to hide it.

I look over at the clock and see that it's almost time for breakfast.

"Alright pretty boy. We need to get up or we'll miss breakfast before classes." I told him.

"Ok ok but one more kiss?" He asked with a smile on his face.

I smile and give him a quick kiss before he let go, allowing me to get up.

He stood up, sliding his shirt and shoes on from last night before turning around,"I'm going to go back to my dorm so I can change then I'll wait in the common room so I can walk my girlfriend to breakfast." He said, sending me a quick wink before he left my room as I laughed at how happy he was.

Then it hit me. Wow. I'm dating Draco Malfoy.
