Flashbacks (ZARRY AU)

PART 6

Harry didn't really know what to react once he'd seen Zayn and on this day, he'd never expected that he'll see him so soon.

You see back after the incident, Harry detached himself from Zayn. He got his heart broken real bad that after their spring dance, Harry hid himself on his room...telling his parents that he doesn't want to attend their graduation. His parents respected his decision and told their principal that he won't be attending. The principal also respected their decision so Harry graduated but didn't come up on stage to shake hands with the teachers. This was the most safest option not to see Zayn.

Seeing Harry didn't go to their graduation, Zayn had come to see him on his house.

Zayn knocked everyday until Anne told him to stop because Harry doesn't want to talk him. Harry couldn't really take it so he decided to study somewhere else. He discussed to his parents about his dream to become a designer and that he wanted to go to Italy to study for it. Des and Anne weren't sure about his decision because maybe Harry's making these rash decisions due to his feelings but they also wanted Harry to forget and move on from what happened so they have no choice but to support him and help him get into fashion school in Italy. They will do everything for Harry.

If studying overseas and fashion designing will take his mind off and will forget about Zayn, they will support him.

They spend all their savings on Harry's schooling but Harry made sure that they won't have a hard time spending money so when he reached Italy, he looked for a scholarship and that helped him all through out his college. Harry tried his best to forget about what happened to him and Zayn but there are times that Harry would dream about it over and over again. But despite those dreams and memories, Harry pushed through and became independent, strong and open to what he really is.

On his senior year in college, he met the son of the company where he interns.

Niall Horan.

The Horan's own a couple of real estate in Milan, including golf courses and his Mum owns a number of boutiques. Harry interned as Mrs. Horan's admin support on her boutiques and Harry learned a lot from it. Mrs. Horan also seen Harry's potential in designing so she gave Harry a chance to help her with fashion designs and latest trends and she was impressed. Very impressed.

So after getting his degree, Mrs. Horan encouraged Harry to plan on having his own line and that she will support him. She'd seen strength in Harry's designs and it deserves to be seen. So Harry did that. He planned and made sure that he'll keep his fashion line floating. Mrs. Horan help Harry on his startup and not just by her connections but also financially. When Harry's designs boomed, people began to invest and catered Harry's designs to other designers and even used his designs on models and events.

That's how Golden started.

It was Niall's idea to outsource Golden and try to open it on the western side and Harry can tell its not a bad idea. So Harry went back to New York, where the fashion capital is. Being back in New York also brings back the feeling he had at high school but this time, Harry's stronger. He won't allow someone to step on him because this time, he's someone who has wealth, power and confidence but seeing Zayn again, after how many years, all of that power and confidence just flew away.

He almost past out seeing Zayn in front of him.

"Oh my god" Louis' eyes widened and his jaw almost dropped seeing Harry in the flesh and gosh no wonder Zayn's obsessed because this man's gorgeous!

Caramel colored curls, bright green eyes, sexy lips and that physique, tall, sexy long legs and he can go on and on narrating how beautiful Harry is.

Louis elbowed Zayn as he was stunned as well "Zayn wake up" Louis whispery hissed at Zayn who's staring at Harry with mixture of surprise, and other emotions "ZAYN HE'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU WAKE UP!" Louis said again but Zayn wasn't budging

"Oh Harry!" Zayn's body jolted and finally moved when he heard Niall's voice. Niall went on Harry's side and look at Zayn and Louis "This is Harry Styles, my boss" Niall introduced as Zayn gulped, Harry's the owner of this company!

"OH Hi Harry, um my name's Louis and this is my work partner, Zayn" Louis said elbowing Zayn again "Uh yes. Hi" Zayn softly said as Harry stares at him and wow, over the years, Zayn did change. He's even more beautiful, more manly and sexier.

His lashes had become even thicker than before but he has the same hazel eyes, those beautiful hazel eyes. He'd also grown taller too, he's now like inches shorter than Harry and wow, Harry can't stop looking his visible tattoos too. He's still the artsy and creative Zayn.

Niall notices the way Harry looks at Zayn and he also seen how Zayn stares at Harry so he did what he had to do, coughed up and ease the awkward tension in the air "Okay! Now that you've met....Harry, the painting's already in your room" Niall said "Uh yeah..." Harry answered not looking away from Zayn "Oh-kay...lets see the painting" Niall added with a slight chuckle as he pushed Harry and that's when Harry started to walk on its own "Thank you again, you know the way" Niall smiled at Louis and Zayn as he pushed Harry towards the door of the small apartment.

Louis held Zayn's wrist and pulled him towards the glass door as they both exited the office "Dude! DUDE!" Louis exclaimed as Zayn can't still believe that he finally saw Harry. His beautiful Harry.

"Oh my god! You finally saw Harry! So so what now?" Louis asked looking at Zayn while walking in the hallway towards the elevator "He stared at me Lou" Zayn uttered "He stared at me and I did too...the feeling was like back in high school" Zayn added as Louis shake his head "No! You're not like back in high school okay? Its 2022! THINGS HAVE CHANGED!" Louis said almost screaming "What should you think I'll do? Should I go back inside and ask for his forgiveness?" Zayn asked "I think its better to let the tension die down. You both are in shock seeing each other again" Louis advised "And besides, Niall's there....and I don't think he knows what had gone down between you and Harry" Louis added.

After Zayn and Louis left, Harry wasn't even paying attention to Niall's explanation regarding the painting Zayn and Louis hanged. Yeah sure he appreciates the painting because it was made by Zayn and everything Zayn touches becomes a real masterpiece but right now, his mind is too busy thinking about Zayn's beautiful god-like face.

After all these years, he's grown and matured so much "Harry?" Harry blinked and looks at Niall "Huh?"

"You've been acting weird after seeing the people from Green eyes, what's wrong?"

"Uh nothing. Just...thinking" Harry said as Niall shrugged "Thinking about what?"

"huh?"

"What's with sudden lose of focus? What's wrong?" Niall asked again as Harry sighed "You remember the man I've been telling you about? The man who crushed my heart back in high school?"

"Yeah! His name's ZEE right?"

"It's Zayn" Harry interjected. Niall thought for a second before getting what Harry meant and suddenly realizing that the man from Green eyes was Zayn "OH MY GOD SO THAT MAN WAS ZEE???? Oh my god! He's the owner of green eyes! Like your eyes! Oh my god!" Niall exclaimed as Harry sighed "I knew there's something on that gallery. I shouldn't have let you go there in the first place!"

"Harry, maybe this is a good thing!" Niall answered "How so?"

"Maybe its time for you guys to mend things....I mean, its been years since what happened right?" Niall said as Harry thinks "Maybe its time to mend things, so you can move on and close this chapter" Niall added, saying it softly.

A/N: Oh my god this was an epic encounter! Finally Zayn and Harry meeting again and so Yaser was right all along? Zayn and Harry crossed-paths so they're meant to meet again and mend things eeeeeeppppp I was smiling while writing this chapter. Imagine if Zayn and Harry meets again in real life. That would be a golden moment. Ugh I missed them 🥺

I also love how supportive Harry's parents are. They'll do everything for their son 😭❤️
