PART 28

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Des yelled as soon as he saw Zayn on his doorstep. 10 years was a long time as Des' hair is starting to turn greyish white and his muscles before have now dissolve into fatherly fats.

Anne also aged but she's still as gorgeous as ever with her green eyes shining. Zayn didn't expected this is gonna be the scene in front of him. That Anne will be on Des' side, clutching and preventing him from giving a punch on Zayn's face "Sir—"

"DON'T YOU SIR ME! You got some nerve coming in here and what? Saying you're sorry?" Des's entire face is red now from shouting "Dad....please calm down" Harry spoke as Des shifted his eyes to his Son, his only son whom he supported for years and years of being what he is. Harry's eyes are pleading for his Dad to calm down as Des inhaled and then exhaled "NOW!" Anne spoke this time, not letting go of her husband "Why don't we take out seats and talk things like adults do" Anne emphasized the word adults as her eyes looks at Des "Okay, hon?" she said as Des sighed and nodded his head. Des and Anne went first inside their kitchen as Zayn gave out a breath.

His knees almost gave out when Des started shouting at him.

Harry moved closer on Zayn's side as he held his hand, lacing their fingers "We ready?" Harry softly asked as Zayn shrugged "I'm not but...." Zayn raised their hands and put Harry's hand on his lips, kissing it "....I won't back down. I will fight for us" he added as Harry's inside burst with happiness.

Both of them walk towards the kitchen. Before they can get inside, they let go of their hands and continued to walk. When they've reached the kitchen, Anne and Des are already sitting on their seats waiting for Zayn and Harry. They sat across them as tensions are now rising coming from Des.

He wouldn't believe that this man has some nerve coming back inside his house and he's with Harry. Did his son already forgave him? And as Des looks at it, they boys are closer than ever. He can see something in Harry's eyes on the way he looks at Zayn. Des didn't say a word as he keeps on staring at the tan boy. He heard Zayn clear his throat as he looks at Des "Sir, I'm here because I wanted to apologize for what happened years ago" Des' ears perked "I uh....regretted what I did back then. For hurting Harry..." Zayn added as Des raised his eyebrow "You think is that easy?" Des answered back with gritted teeth "Harry's been miserable because of you"

"I know sir, I know. That's why I did my best on apologizing to Harry..." Zayn said taking a glance at Harry before looking at Des again "I know I did not only hurt Harry but I also hurt both of you" Zayn's eyes went to Anne "I'm sorry for hurting you and Harry...." Anne's eyes had gone soft and seeing Zayn and hearing his words, he sounded sincere

"Harry" Des called as Harry looks at his father "Have you....forgiven this boy?" his tone of his voice was very much different when he's talking to Zayn. His voice is more softer and calmer when he talks to his son "Yes dad....I already did" Harry answered as Des held his breath "Just like that?" He asked as Harry looks at Zayn who look back at him.

Harry gave a smile and went back looking at his dad "Yes dad. Just like that..." Harry answered and propped his elbows on the table "Mom, Dad, listen..." Des and Anne put all their attention on Harry now "What happened in the past is in the past. We shouldn't hold it against us" Harry started "Zayn hurt me back at high school but he already asked for my forgiveness and I already forgave him....our life is fleeting so we shouldn't hold grudges anymore" Harry then reached for Zayn's hand who's on his lap and held it "If someone's sincerely asking for our forgiveness, we should give it to them and forgive them...." Harry then settled his and Zayn's tangled hands on top of the table as Anne gasp and Des' breathing hitches

"We're together now Sir...I love your son and I'm willing to do anything for you to accept us" Zayn interjected as Anne covered his lips with her hands and her eyes started to welled up "Mom, dad" Harry said as he looks at them on their eyes "We love each other" Harry softly said.

Des stared at his son and finally get that Harry's in love when he stepped foot inside their house. He's in fact glowing and his eyes are more greener than ever. Des looks at his wife who's now shedding tears. He draped his arm on her shoulders, rubbing them gently. Anne looked at Des as her lips began to smile "I never thought to see Harry in love!" Anne whispered to him as Des gave a small smile. What else he could do? Harry's on the right age and in right mind to choose someone to himself.

"Ma'am, Sir, I know I did some things that have hurt your Son but I will make it up to it...I promise you that I will treat Harry like how you've treated him and I will love him unconditionally" Zayn assured as Des find Zayn's eyes "I love him" Zayn squeezed Harry's hand as they waited for Des' reaction.

Des looks at his son again and thought of the days when he was young. The day they've send him to preschool, the day Harry discovered his sexuality and the day Harry became an adult and started his own journey. And now, seeing the man he'd become, a person with a big heart and a professional designer, Des' is proud of his son and his accomplishments and he'd promised himself that whatever Harry chooses, he'll support him because Harry is his son. Own flesh and blood.

Des sighed as he lets go of Anne who's still tearing up because she's so happy that Harry finally found love. Des stood from his seat and looks at Zayn. He slowly raised his hand and offered it to Zayn to shake. Zayn's eyes widened as he lets go of Harry's hand as he slowly rise from his seat. He look at Des' hand and back on his eyes "Take care of my son" Des said as Zayn's lips instantly smiled and shake Des' hand "Yes Sir. I will. He's my happiness and I will make sure, I will keep it that way" Zayn answered as Des finally gave out a sincere smile.

A/N: I seriously love this part! Zayn asking for forgiveness from Harry's parents and Des forgiving him just because he is Harry's happiness. Also, Des saying he'll support Harry on whatever he decides is such a beautiful sight to see. Its rare to have parents like them. Its rare to have supportive parents. So happily ever after I guess? 😂
