I walked upstairs with KEL, he was barely able to walk, the time was 10pm on a Tuesday. KEL fell down onto the floor, he was visibly tired. My mother was trying to wake him up every time he fell onto the floor. Finally, it failed so my father picked him up and tucked him into bed.
After a (1 hour long) night routine I prepared and completed, I was ready to sleep, I gave my parents a goodnight and laid down on my bed. It seemed as if it took hours for me to sleep, but I was counting and it took only 20 minutes. While I was waiting to be tired, my eyes watered from thoughts that disrupted my relaxation. I fell asleep.
I woke up again, it was morning, 9am on a Wednesday. I completed my morning routine, consisting of 30 minutes. I heard a knock on the door, so I walked to get it, my mother and father were smiling at me as I went to go open the door.
"Hi HERO! Sorry for knocking so early. How are you? I'm free today, are you, though? I couldn't call you, unfortunately, my father would've killed me. And yes, he still monitors how much I hang out with you. Anyways, are you free?" There was standing, what seemed like a 19 year old MARI. Her hair, now an ombre. She smiled the perfect smile I haven't seen in so long.
"Hi...MARI. I'm...uh...Good! I'm free, mostly. I probably need to go to the OTHERMART to buy groceries." I put my hands behind my back and smiled.
"Oh great! Wonderful. Do you want me to go with you?" She fixed her dress and stroked her hair.
"If...If you want! I'd love to, we can catch up while we're walking. I promise it won't be tiring. I didn't...Expect you so I still need to change."
"Oh, so sorry! 'Knew I should've called you anyway...Can I wait inside? I'll be quiet."
"Of course! Just wait for me, do you want tea or something?"
"No, but thanks! I'll just put my shoes in the corner and come inside in a bit." She steps inside and puts off her shoes, before putting them on the side carefully. She closes the door.
"I'll be in a second!" I walked upstairs and quickly changed into my favorite shirt and jeans. I then walked downstairs and held MARI's hand.
"So fast. I like that about you. Let's go, then?" While still holding my hand, she slipped on her shoes as I did too.
We were walking together to the OTHERMART, I noticed AUBREY.
"Hi AUBREY!" MARI giggled and waved at her with her free hand.
"Hi MARI! Hi HERO!" AUBREY waved back, she looked completely different. Her hair being an ombre too, but pink. She looked happier and more natural, I was sad to see her be so different.
"If you're wondering where we're going, we're just going to the OTHERMART, what about you?"
"I'm collecting trash, 'seems fun. And, I get money for it!" AUBREY showed her trash bag, it looked full to the brim
"Wow! Money, for trash? Cool!" MARI nodded. "Well, HERO and I better hurry. We can hang out later!"
We were now at OTHERMART. I was getting groceries off a list as MARI looked around.
"So, Med School, eh? I wish we could've went to the same college. I'm going to musical college, it's going soundly."
"Yeah...Med school is decent..Preetty boring if you ask me."
"Boring? I could make it fun! You just need to ask!" She puts her hands on her hips.
"Ah...MARI, dear, can you make studying medicine 24/7 fun?"
