After we agreed on the leader's talk turned to building walls and setting up areas to sleep and eat in. I then took charge, grabbing a rock maybe the size of a baseball and throwing it at the plane. The resulting noise silenced everyone, and I began to speak, "I need anyone interested in construction to help me make tools for the Village," 17 people stepped forward and one held out a Swiss army knife and told me, "I managed to get this past airport security, could we use this?"

Aspira snorted when she saw that knife and pulled out a real hunting knife, it seemed to have a thin coat of diamonds on it but how she got it through security I only learned later, I would mention it now but that is a story for later.

"How did you get that through security?!" several voices asked at once, including mine. Aspira gave us a wicked smile and said, "I have my ways," then she gave it to the guy who had the Swiss army knife and said, "This here is a knife." Several of us laughed, it was like a common Australian joke. Aspira glared at us and said, "I anyone damages anything that belongs to me I will carve forgive me onto their chest, understand!?' we nodded, no one seemed to doubt that coming from one as dangerous as the Silent Knife.

I told him, "You go take one other person and slice up some trees for branches and planks and the like." then I pointed to 3 of the weakest ones and said, "you, you, and you go look for small bit of scrap metal that can be used as a file." They nodded and went off.

About 35 minutes later we had a few planks and rods of wood as well as an impressive variety of scrap metal. We then took an hour to piece them together the tools and while we did that the other people made the plane into a dormitory, killed a few animals with rocks and other heavy articles, started fires to cook said animals then dragged a few dead logs over and used plates that they found on the plane.

We made the Minecraft set of tools a few times over and then we went to eat. When we sat down, the leaders got to sit closest to the fires. Cordlen waited until we were done eating and then stood up and said, "so what has everyone's departments been doing?" Akran went first saying, "we teamed up with water and agriculture to scout the area and we found a freshwater river that almost seemed to speak, a lake so clear that you could see the bottom 7 meters down, a large grassland, and we saw a few caves in the mountains, there were also many edible plants nearby. Agriculture could use the fields and water can use the river and lake. We also found a downed helicopter and nearby there were two bodies in a small shelter, they were too long gone to recognize."

I went next and described what we had carried out, then went Gabriel who said, "I managed to recruit a good amount of people and Aspira and I have decided to join our groups together, placing the army as defenders until they are needed to attack, we then had a few guards patrol the perimeter and a few serves as the police. I request a wall around this village in order to protect us from the wild if you so please Ligh." He then bowed and sat back down.

Next went Alvaro, "we looked for medical supplies and found a few first aid kits then we looked for healing plants nearby and found many throughout the area. We need an enclosed area to serve as a hospital though." He finished with a significant glance at me, and I nodded, adding a medical pavilion to the endless list of things that needed to be built.

Then Kara went, "we found a few books for different grades and classes, but we still need to rewrite many and add courses because as one can see we are in the middle of nowhere and need to rebuild society from scratch. We need to add survival skills to the lessons and make higher grades focus on jobs. And we also need a schoolhouse. Also, I'm sorry about all these requests for buildings Ligh but we need them." She bowed to the council then sat down.

Cordlen then stood up and said, "we need people to cut down nearby trees with Ligh's tools, then to make a wall and a few buildings, Ligh you oversee that. Health needs to split the plane into many rooms. Agriculture needs to take some of Ligh's tools and begin to plant the crops, water you need to help them, also we need to make a path through the trees to the lake, river, and fields, Military needs to take care of that. Surveyors collect edible plants, hunt, and map out the area. Finally, Education needs to start making classes and lessons, Agriculture, help them grow sugarcane to make paper, we also need lead of some sort-" I raised my hand and said, "I have a few pencils,"

Cordlen smiled at me then they said, "Thank you Ligh."

Then Charolette went, she was short, with bright orange hair and a strange resistance to heat, her corps oversaw lighting fires and tending to them, and later they would oversee the village's electrical needs. She stood up, pushed her hair away from her eyes, and said, "We have used Ligh's tools to cut down certain trees and would like to note that Ligh's group can use them to build the structures that this village needs. We need a regular supply of firewood but one of the cleverer of ours hot-wired the plane's electricity so that the reading lights still work, we have also used loose wires to create sparks and light fires throughout the village.

"We require no help from anyone else though since we can recover firewood on our own, we can make do with what we have." With that threat she bowed and sat down. Cordlen stood up and said, "Make sure your departments go where they need to go tonight. Until the morning." "We survive the night." A few of them replied to which we all burst out laughing and saying it again, this time louder and we then heard the villagers shouting it as well, thus scaring all the birds from the trees nearby.

A howl responded and then more. Much to the surprise and delight of the villagers.

We can be screaming 'till the sun goes out, then in the morning we'll be the only sound.
