Aspira
After the Factions were decided (factions is what the villagers began calling the units, we probably put more thought into naming things than we should have) and the scouting expedition was sent out everyone decided to rest for the night. Also, I am the leader of the army because I was a good fighter as I proved in every form of combat except for fencing (Akran fights like a demon), and I had made it through the obstacle course fastest. The villagers also voted for me so that the Silent Knife would have something other than murder to do.
Before this little adventure I had been an assassin, I was trained in the Akmat Tej high in the mountains, I then went on to work for a variety of clients, from business owners to politicians. I was trained to never leave any evidence that could lead toward me which meant using hundreds of well-built personas to disguise my movements
Sneaking in my weapons was pathetically easy, I just had to forge a few permits and bribe the right people
When Gabriel and I got elected Gabriel walked over to me and told me his idea of joining our factions together and Akran and told us his ludicrous idea to scout the area, Cordlen and Lennox got involved as well and then we were off. we found the river and people called it the doggerel river and as they said it the name became Dogwater, we went from doggerel to Dogwater, it was awesome. We then found the clear lake which was quickly named clearwater. Akran was so confused over the names.
Speaking of Akran he got elected to the leader of the people's corps of surveyors because he won a hundred-yard dash, the fencing contest, and the art contest as well. He was also a complete genius when it came to debating, he was incredible. Yesterday, walking through the forest I noticed that he made no sound at all.
Today we went out to map the area and Surveyors had convinced Ligh's builders to make them clipboards and now used those to put paper on to map the landscape.
When we reached the edges of the forest, I saw a glint of metal through the trees, "Wait!" I shouted and the whole group turned to look at me, I pointed to the direction of the metal thing, "there's something over there." Akran looked and nodded, going ahead to assign a small group of surveyors and guardians to follow me.
We then walked carefully over to the metal doohickie. When we eventually reached it, I realised that it was a downed helicopter. There was a small shelter nearby the plane, but something had attacked them. One of the surveyors found something, "Wolf tracks madam! They're huge!" he shouted. I rushed over to look, and he continued saying, "the thing must have been the size of a horse!"
I put my hand on his shoulder and told him, "Go tell Akran we need the army." He ran as fast as he could through the forest. While he was gone, we began to rummage through the helicopter and found quite a bit of useless electronics, a first aid kit, the chairs and quite a bit of scrap metal. One of the surveyors said, in wonder, "why it's not as bad as it looks, we could fix it!" we looked at him in confusion and he said, "there seems to be a tricky enchantment over this valley that blocks any form of outside communication, so we probably can't fly out, but electricity still works so we can fix up the helicopter!"
That was when the rest of the corps showed up. "What's going on here?" Akran asked in confusion. The surveyor excitedly told him, and the others began to speak excitedly. Then Akran yelled, "Stop!"
Everyone turned to look at him and he said, "this'll make her insufferable, but we need Niki to make her unit." he looked around at us then said, "anyone who is good with electronics stay here, and by good with electronics I mean that you can take apart an iPhone, put it back together, and describe what the major pieces were."
Three farmers and seven surveyors stepped forward and Akran nodded at them and said, "make haste, head back to camp, get Niki, get Cordlen's approval, then head back here to repair the helicopter." They nodded and ran off towards the plane.
