That is just like her, pass the pencil over to me right when she gets bored. Of course, she cannot tell you exactly what happened but still, she is that kind of manipulative, slightly lazy person.

Anyway, about ten people joined my faction, hardworking whip-smart minds all of them. With a guard from the surveyors, you cannot swing a cat in this village without hitting a surveyor, we went back to the helicopter.

Along the way we started to talk because we got bored of walking at the swift, silent pace the surveyors went at, but we instantly stopped when we saw the copter, it was a Bell 222, a common civilian helicopter. How do I know that? Well, I am ADHD so after taking up transportation as my college path I began to look through most of the types. The bell is cheap and reliable, in fact it was the first helicopter to be certified for single-pilot IFR operations without an autopilot.

We began to scout the wreckage of it, as far as I could tell some idiot flier had not realized until it was too late that they were low on fuel, and they got dragged over here and eaten by wolves. That is why you always refuel before you fly kids!

We needed to find fuel for the plane, we looked through the copter, looking for any fuel. There wasn't any and we were about to salvage the bell for spare parts when I realized, "Did the plane still have fuel when we crashed?" one of the engineers, Aref he was called, answered saying, "we had quite a bit of fuel left and there are refuelling lines on the plane..." "that we could change to refuel the bell!" I finished excitedly.

"Right, everyone we need to head back to request wood and the plane's wheels so that we can make a pallet to place the bell on, let's go!"

It took us about an entire month, in which Ligh's little architectural firm made a few important buildings and homes for the leaders, but we finally managed to finish the bell. By then there was a wall around the village, several watch towers being built, and a few building's frameworks were already up. There was also a helipad. It took some messing with, but we managed to make the service celling 6,400 feet because you know, safety.

It was a big celebration and Cordlen saw us off. "Safe travels Bell 1," Cordlen said, I mock saluted to them then nodded to the pilot who began to take off. We had a crew of eight surveyors who were doing an unnecessary amount of talking, scribbling, and requesting us to slow down of turn or do a loop or whatever else they decided to ask. After about an hour we had to set down because we did not want to waste too much gas. Charolette's department is working on making more fuel.

We reaffirmed that the valley was huge and hidden beyond the forest in the thickest area was a deep ravine with descending paths and hidden caves.

When we got back fourth of July celebrations were in full swing and in the market at the side of the plane, they were holding a general assembly to decide on a flag, in the end we chose a silver triangle over the sea with green stripes on the edges to show how we were stuck between the lines of reality.

We then spent the rest of the day singing various national anthems, eating, and drinking as much as we could. Though Cordlen, Ligh, and Charolette did not like the 'extravagance' they had no choice but to celebrate anyway. A month here is 50 days with the year being 608. How did we know? Well, if you were to ask Ligh or the surveyors, they would put it down to being science and observation, but the truth is we had a sudden knowledge of the days and years, and did I mention how there is now forty hours in a day!?

The extra time in the day and months is interesting and helped a lot with our efforts to build and design. Gabriel has mentioned the idea of a wall to defend the village, from what we asked, and he responded saying, "There are those wolves out there that may attack us at any time and a wall would help make the villagers feel much safer than a local militia can." we felt that we had no choice but to agree and Ligh got her corps to begin building the wall.
