Buying A Card.

In debate for a few days, what should I get,
Flowers and a hug? - that'll lead regret,
Because I know you wouldn't like that,
I know I've lied from your simple facts,

You told me to leave, to abort my feelings,
But I've signed my life to your dormant dealings,
I tried to look past, I tried to let go,
But an open card, is how it goes,

To the tree that suffered due to my card,
I'm really sorry it left you scarred,
I thought I could make it up to her you see...
But instead I'm being told to let my heart be free,

But who truthfully knows? - I have my life to live,
With or without her, affection I can afford to give,
From needing to wanting, now the battle is won,
Dissolving into puddles, and my ink is gone.

- My Love Isn't Accepted. But I Love You. I'm Sorry.
