Learning Curve

You said no, now I've been set free,
Little to no love, and no faith in me,
It's okay, I've learnt to forgive,
But with you I can't, as you don't let me live.

I did what I could, I played my part,
Although you're too busy, ignoring my heart,
My life with no colour, except the darkest blue,
I've learnt what I want, and I know it isn't you.

Life is a learning curve, for us all to share,
I fall backwards, thinking no one would care,
But there are people that care, now and always,
They are there for you, opening more than doorways.

Here's the truth: I'm desperate to improve,
I find myself eager, to get one to approve,
Tell me I'm worth it, that I'm all that you needed,
Then I'll admit to others, that I have succeeded.
