Sera Daine was an indifferent woman, she did what she was told, asked questions later and didn't care about the consequences.

She was smarter than people gave her credit for and took everything with a grain of salt.

Sera was in the army rangers and for a while she felt like that was going to be her life forever. Until she met Jay Halstead,

they agreed to have each other's back for as long as they could. Eventually things started to get to them and they had to move on.

Jay moved back home and got a job with a local intelligence group. But Sera wanted a different change of scenery;

she wanted to feel the sand between her toes and the breeze through her hair. She decided to pick up her life and move to Hawaii.

While looking for a place to call home she finds herself being assigned to a task force, to look out for them and make sure they were listening following the rules.

The last thing she wanted to be was someone's babysitter. But she needed a job nonetheless.

Before long she finds herself actually liking the members of the task force and finds herself falling for the team's leader and her boss,

Steve McGarrett what happens when she realizes her feelings for steve are real, will she find herself lost at the point of no return or stuck in what feels like a fever dream?
