Sera was waiting with Kono at a crime scene, which was conveniently the day before Halloween. Everything seemed so far from reality lately. The fact that she and Steve were engaged was something she may never get over. It was fun being engaged it was better being engaged to someone you love and she loved Steve with everything she had. It hurt her that Madison wasn't there. That she was going to have a wedding without her best friend present. It hurt her badly. Madison was everything to Sera and she still couldn't get herself to get over the fact that she was gone. They hadn't broken the news of the engagement to anybody, seeing as it only happened a few days ago. But also because she was still wrapping her head around everything, panning how their lives would go for this.
"Kono. Call said we got body parts."
Kono turns as does Sera the two being blinded by the flashlight of Danny and Steve,
"Yeah. A lot of them." Kono nods. " Found by a couple of kids on a horror campout."
"A what?"
Sera steps over the tarp a bit trying to examine one of the cut-off limbs. "It's an interactive adventure. People pay good money to spend the night outdoors while a bunch of actors in masks scare the hell out of them chasing them around."
Danny makes a face. "Uh-huh. I know a couple streets in Camden where you get the same experience, free of charge." he turns to Steve. "What did I say?"
"Yeah, well, as far as scares go, these guys got their money's worth."
"Dispatch said one suitcase. I see three."
Kono nods. "Yeah, HPD found these other two in the last half hour. Looks like we came across a dumping ground."
"Any idea how long they're been out here?"
"Uh, CSU estimates about a week." Sera replies'
"All right, everybody listen up. I want K-9 out here, I want ground radar. Make sure we get everything. There could be more. Call Max. Have him clear his schedule. Looks like we got a serial killer on our hands."
