Hell Hath No Fury

Sera didn't like this one bit. She always felt like had a sixth sense, like there was someone out there in trouble and she could feel it. She could feel it when there was a ghost in a room, and when someone was dying or dead. She felt things and people called her crazy for it, but she stopped caring about what people thought when she grew up.
She realized she had been blessed with a gift, not many people could say that they had. She was stubborn and funny, but kind and generous. She believed that there was a certain way that life was supposed to be lived and maybe she got it from her mom. Who told her that life was too short to constantly be upset or to constantly be worried.
Unfortunately her mother took that literally, when she died from a robbery gone bad. It was a cold night in december. Martha had wanted to stop by the local bodega to get some milk for Sera and Madison The two sisters wanted to sit out Milk and cookies for Santa. They ran out of milk at the last minute so Martha promised them she would be quick about it and just run to the bodega down the street. She made Sera promise to watch her little sister. That it would only take her five minutes and to not wait until she would put the milk out next to the cookies for Santa.
Sera and Madison were confused when they woke up to the cops at their door, Martha died trying to protect that bodega owner. She didn't care that she had kids, she knew that the older gentlemen couldn't protect himself. That he was all alone. Martha was just that kinda person, she died right there on the floor of the bodega with the carton of milk still in her hands.
From then on Sera and Madison went to stay with their Uncle, who wasnt the coolest person. He was a science nerd and had all these weird figurines around his place, but he took good care of them brought them up to be exactly what their mother wanted, Until Madison disappeared, one minute she is going to school to be a lawyer and the next she is never seen or heard from again. Sera did everything she could to find her sister, but eventually the trail ran dry and her uncle died. Leaving her alone to figure out what to do with her life. Part of her still Felt like her sister was alive somewhere.
