Everything All At Once.
*Trigger warning *
Steve was madly in love; he couldn't understand it. When you fall in love, every emotion comes along with it. First, there is denial, then anxiousness, grief, confusion, and finally, acceptance. Yes, he had accepted that side of him a long time ago. He had done everything he could do to win her back, and now it was time for the most significant step, for the proposal, and so far, he was slacking in that department. He had the ring, the location, and the plan, yet everything seemed so different. He was running out of time, soon or later he was going to have to man up and decide on the best time and do it and go all in, he had just never done something this vulnerable in his life.
It would help if they saw each other, but they weren't; they were just two people talking and trying to figure out what was happening and how they would live their lives. Sera was just her carefree, fun self, loving her life every minute of the day and trying to navigate her feelings and time. Sure, she wasn't dating, but there was love just under her nose, and before she knew it, she would be in love again, and everything that was wrong with the world would be right again.
For now, the love-struck duo would continue on their run; they were jogging down the street doing a workout for a big triathlon coming up for charity. Of course, unlike a few others, Sera was excited, but an average person would want to jog on Kamehameha Ave at six a.m. Sera and Kono were up front, followed by Steve, Chin, and Danny. Kono was wearing a yellow tank top with black leggings. Her brown hair was pulled into a ponytail. Sera was wearing a white tank top with navy blue spandex running shorts. Steve was wearing a navy blue muscle shirt and black basketball shorts. Danny wore a grey t-shirt with a giant sweat stain on the front and light blue shorts. Chin was wearing a white tank top and blue and red shorts.
"Feeling the burn, Danny." Kono Joked as they continued jogging.
"No, I'm tasting the burn. Remind me never to have breakfast tacos before a five-mile run."
"Actually....we've only gone three miles...you'd know that if you were wearing one of these," Chin chimed, looking at his new Fitbit. "This thing gets your heart rate, too. I'm guessing yours is dangerously high." he sang. He, Kono, and Sera decided to buy them for the marathon.
