Chapter VI. Winter Is Coming

Narrator POV

In Cersei's chamber, Jaime and Cersei are talking while he watches the snow fall. Cersei approaches nursing wine "That Snow girl... Lyanna. She has your look, Jaime. The arrogance. Did you notice?"

Jaime nods "I noticed. She's magnificent. And utterly spoiled by Northern mud."

"Don't go near her, Jaime. She's not yours to play with, father with us."

Jaime smirking "Perhaps not. But I noticed she doesn't care much for rules, sister. That usually makes things interesting."

Cersei laughs but there was no humor in it "You seek trouble the way a boar seeks mud. But remember, little brother, she is Snow. Don't interfere with Father."

He just smiles the image of Lyanna's furious arrogant eyes fixed in his mind. Pledged to the Hand. Perhaps. But she is no one's pet, least of all yours.

In war chamber room, Eddard, Genna and Tywin sit around the table. Ned pours wine for them and gives the last cup to Tywin "What are you doing here, Lord Tywin?" Ned asked.

"Who were your twin mother?"

"Not matters to anyone." Ned answered.

Genna puts her hand on her brother's wrist not to talk "Actually, we came together to ask you something"

Ned takes a sip and back in her chair "I am listening"

Tywin puts his cup on the table "I am asking for Snow White hand for my son" he only want to make the prophecy true "We were bound by blood long ago. Well, it's not too late to repeat it."

"Our king old me, I thought for Tyrion as they close in age Tyrion is twenty-five and she is eighteen"

Genna gives Ned a look "Don't look at me like that. All I know is Lyanna would be a good match with Jaime, you know Tyrion's habit"

"I know Jaime's habits too. Jaime in King guard, he swore an oath"

Genna smiles "Ask the girl, I guess she will accept it, she knew him before we came"

Ned glare at her and want to deal with Lyanna.

Tywin says "So we will put the two under the fait accompli"

Genna nods "We didn't tell Jamie"

Ned sighs "To be a good thing with Gods willing"

Lyanna POV

I sit alone in the woods, my wolf runs in front of me. I hear horse hoover sound and turn to sound and Jaime stops his horse as he sees me. My wolf runs to my lap scared of Jaime's horse. I take her between my arms "It's okay, love"

Jaime unmounts his horse "Lady Lyanna"

I raise my eyes to meet his "I told you before calling me Lyanna"

Jaime sits next to me on the ground "Well Lyanna, How are you?"

"You have nothing to talk about, so ask me how am I?"

Jaime grins "Do not be so smart" I pat my wolf chuckling "Why are you here?"

"I hate crowded places so I runaway here"

Jaime nods "Yes, The red cloak suits you" I give him a thanking look "You are raising a wolf"

I nod "Yes, she became like a child to me"
