I found my room at the end of the hall. Just where he said it would be. I slowly pushed open the door. It was small, fairly clean room. There was wardrobe setting against the left wall. At the far end of the room was a small bed with a chest at the end. The old wood floor creaked under me as I stepped into the room. I was shocked to see it as clean as it was. I sighed and began to unpack my clothes. I opened the giant wardrobe and began to hung up my shirts before putting the rest of my clothes in the chest. I looked out the door to a large grandfather clock in the hallway. Yikes. Training was about to start. I left my room, shutting the door behind me lightly before sprinting down the hall. I ran outside and was able to find the training field quickly.

I ran up and slid in line beside a few other cadets that were any standing at attention. Levi stopped what he was saying long enough to give me a glare before continuing.

"now since you have already been through boot camp, you may be wondering why you are training more. You see, there are a few things they didn't teach you. Hand to hand combat is one of those things. Since you twats are here to fight Titans, you may think it's not necessary. But believe me when I say, it could save your life. For your first lesson, we will begin by practicing blocks. I will need a volunteer."

He flicked his eyes over to me, and with a hint of amusement in his voice said, "l/n! Since you didn't think this class important enough to show up on time, I shall show you how important it really is." My cheeks caught fire as he motioned for me to come over to him.

I took my stance and prepared for his attack. His emotionless eyes bored into my soul. Before I could react, he had some how flipped behind me and knocked my legs out from under me. I smash ass first into the ground. "As I have demonstrated, it is very important to keep a good stance. Without your stance, your blocks will be worthless and you will be knocked flat on your ass," he motioned to me. "Just as this twat basket has shown us." Now my cheeks were really on fire. "Alright, that's enough for now. Go to the mess hall, and be back in your quarters by curfew."

Everyone saluted before hurrying away. I stood, dusting myself off, still flustered. I walked past Levi. "Oi." He called behind me. I stopped, but didn't turn to face him. "Work on your stance. You'll get hurt if you don't." I stiffened a bit, before replying, "yes sir." And hurrying to catch up with the others.
